Will he set aside his vow and bind the woman to him forever…

Gabriel, of French descent, and master vampire of the Reavenshire tribe, never expected to desire a human-fae as much as he does Thea. He craves her body as well as her blood and when he holds her in his arms, his binding tendrils seek entrance constantly. He doesn’t want to be bound to her, but when Thea comes to him, in need of his tribe’s healing amulet, will he sacrifice his freedom as he battles to save the woman he loves?

Will she surrender to her desire for a vampire…

Thea has resisted Gabriel for two long years, but her need for the healing amulet to save her mother’s life forces her to pay the price he demands. Passion blossoms as she gives herself to him, yet nothing feels simple in her relationship with the vampire. When her search for the amulet turns deadly, will her means of survival destroy hope of love forever?

This is the story of the master vampire Gabriel and the human-fae Thea. He didn't want to be bound to any woman. It always meant constant arguing between the two who were bound. That didn't stop him from wanting her in his bed for the past two years. Even better now that she wants a healing amulet from him. Is she willing to trade her time for the amulet? This is book one in the Amulet series, which is a series of fantastic shorts. Great story and I can't wait for more. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

Copy Gifted for an honest review I have many Roane novels under my belt and all are worth exploring.  The amulet Series is a short read but still delivers rewarding characters and adventure . Wicked Nights include Vamp Gabriel and Thea on a trail to locate the healing amulet.

I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. Take one commitment-phobe vampire and one part-human part-fae who have been dancing around each other for two years. What you get is a short story filled with passion and history. There is no insta-love with this story, instead it's been building between them for two years before either of them realise what it is. Of course, it takes the presence of very real danger to both of them to make them realise but this just gives the story some action. A quick read, full of steam. Definitely recommended. Gifted copy for honest review. I really enjoyed Wicked Night.  This story is about Gabriel and Thea.  Thea needs a healing amulet from Gabriel to heal her mother.  This a great short love story.  I recommend it.

Sexy and Short... This is book one in the Amulet Series... here we meet Gabriel, Master Vampire of Reavenshire. He has wanted Thea for years and finally has her right where he wants her when she comes asking for the healing amulet. Each wants the other, but not a true commitment... I enjoyed this little adventure with these two... In this short story, you get to step into a new world and experience a bit of danger, drama, and a HEA! A great start to a series!!

Copy received in exchange for honest review. We have the Blood Rose and the Ascension worlds of Caris Roane's unique vampire creations, and now the Amulet world. Yet again she revamps (ha ha) the world of vampires into her own unique image. Masters protect amulets of great power from their ancient forges, but payment must be made to utilize these amulets. So of course, the best payment is a good woman and the sex to go with it. And bonding, of course, with tendrils that sound like a politely naughty version of spiritual tentacle sex. (Trust me, it's a fun read.)

The first book in Caris Roanes' Amulet series is a powerful account of Gabriel, a Master Vampire and Thea, a Fae, that bargains with him for a healing amulet. Amulets created by Master Vampires are desired by good and evil alike and so are guarded and gifted only by them. Gabriel and Thea's intense attraction for each other literally scorches the pages and the culmination of their minds and bodies make this story hot, hot, hot. Ms. Roane's vivid imagination and spirited storytelling makes this a great beginning to the series.

Did you enjoy Caris' Blood Rose Series? If you did you'll love the Amulet Series. Do you like hot sex scenes? You'll love the Amulet Series. Not a lot of time? You'll love the Amulet Series. You could call these little shorties, hot shots. Of Caris' three series that I've read, these are the steamiest of the Blood Rose, Guardian/Dawn of Ascension and Amulet Series.  I did enjoy them, wished for a little more. It was just enough to get the storyline, but not long so there's not a lot of time invested.

I enjoyed this book. It is the first one I read from this arthur. I liked the binding idea the most i think. The characters could have more detail but over all I liked it. I will read more of her books.

It started off with a pretty good storyline, but the under-developed characters/story made the characters seem week. I realize that it is a novella, but some more fleshing out of the relationship between the two main characters would make this a far better story. They went from "no commitments!" to "Love you forever!" within a few pages. Really enjoyed Embrace the Dark by SM, but this novella seemed like it needed more work.
