•Discovering truth in a world of hype

•Finding peace amid the ups and downs of life

•Accepting ourselves

•Working with difficult emotions

I ordered this book from b&n when I was looking into buddhism..as a teen in todays world it's hard to finf your center and your way....struggling with self injury and being bipolar I was looking for somthing more something much more meaningful to me...I found it in the book it really helped my on my spiritual path it helped me really see and understand myself. It's not one of those books that try and convert you that's not what the religion or the book is about you it's about encouraging you to question things and find the truth that works for you...your truth. I recently converted from catholocism (sp?) to buddhism and this book really helped me. It explained things in an easy way things that other books took chapters to explain she explainex in only one and in a way I could relate. I highly reccomend it!! See for yourself!! In this fast pace hectic world sometimes you need somthing more something to help and this book helped me maybe it can help you?!?!? I hope this review helped ~Rikku_lmv
