From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Tricia O'Malley, comes a new romance series set on the rocky shores of Ireland.

It is time…

An ancient book, a power untouched, and a heart unloved lead Keelin O'Brien from her graduate studies in Boston to a small village on the coast of Southern Ireland. Determined to unearth the secrets lying hidden in the enchanted waters of the cove, Keelin has little time for a surly Irishman who infuriates her during the day and haunts her fantasies at night.

Inexplicably drawn to the woman who has stepped from his dreams and into his world, Flynn fights a stubborn battle against his increasing attraction for Keelin. Forces unknown have better plans for the two.

Only the secrets of the cove can show Keelin who she really is, the beauty of her mysterious power, and a love that will break the bounds of what she knows.

I enjoyed reading the story, despite some grammatical and point of view errors. The characters were engaging, and the plot was well thought out. My biggest complaint, however, was that the story was very rushed. She was in Ireland for a whole summer, but the author makes very little mention of how much time has passed until the main character says it. And there was little build up for her relationship, it just started happening. I'd have liked to see more character development before the first mature scene.

I started out really loving this book. It had a great story line. If i had to say one thing i didnt like, it would be that the ending was rushed. Other than that it was a great book that i would recommend for sure.

This book sets an excellent pace, keeping the reader's interest right from the start. The main characters are well developed and the plot is wonderful. The writing is very good. I felt as if this was a 5-star book right up until the last 30 pages or so. Beginning with the hike, however, out of nowhere everything became rushed. Almost all details were suddenly neglected, and the writing lost ts quality. The author seemed to just gloss over the most important part of the story, as if once she had figured out the ending she had no use for the book any more and couldn't wait to wrap things up. Because the first four fifths of the book were so good, this was a huge let-down and disappointment to me! I am left with a lack of closure that's very unsettling. The book was still wonderful and I'll try the next one in the series, but I do feel as if I came up empty on this one.

Keelin and Flynn seem to want sex a little too much. I thought there would be more to the story. It could have been better.

Romance novel, with a twist. I wish it was longer because I loved the characters! It was an easy read yet detailed enough to let me picture the world it's set in.

I really enjoyed this book. And the unique way the author created characters. powerful women and their stories of how they come into their own unique gifts. I highly recommend this book. A few minor editing glitches, but none too distracting.

Absolutely love this series! I fell in love with Nora's Irish Jewel series and thought I'd never find another that would measure up. I am so glad I was wrong. Ms. O'Malley's Mystic Cove characters make you feel right at home. It's the best way I can describe it. Ireland, magic, characters you wish were your friends make this series the perfect read.
