Wild Nights by Karen Erickson

There are no limits in Vegas...

Vegas Nights, Book 3

Natalie's girls-weekend went bust as soon as her friends walked into the party.

Running into a rock star--literally--might just be exactly what she needs to have a little fun of her own. Her drink's dripping down his chest, and it's all she can do resist licking it off.

Noah Wilde doesn't believe in resisting urges. Not the one he has for the blue-eyed bombshell in front of him, cleaning him up. Not the one where the two of them ditch the party for an all-night adventure. And definitely not the one that has them testing out the very definition of Sin City.

Until the sun rises, and resisting seems like the honorable choice. It could be over. Or it could be just the beginning.

It's last call.

3 out of 5 stars. Looking to take a little brake Natalie (Nat) took a weekend vacation to Las Vegas with her two best friends for a girls getaway, only to end up at an exclusive party the first night and get ditched by her friends. Yet, things start to look up after she catches the eye of Noah the lead singer of a hot rock band Wilde & Wicked. Sparks fly and soon what was meant to be a just a wild weekend turns into something a whole lot more … but is the infatuation all one-sided? Steamy and sweet. This quick read leaves you wanting more but satisfied with the sweet way it all wraps up. I recommend it to those looking for a steamy rockstar romance novella! Review By: From Me to You ... What happens when three girlfriends spend a weekend in Vegas together? Well, if they are single (and these ones are!) with any luck they'll find just the right hook up to live it up and have some fun. This third story in the series (each can be read as standalone) has Natalie, a serious and dedicated nurse meeting Noah, a famous rock star. She can't believe he'd be interested in her when he could have his pick of any woman, but Natalie's innocence and vibrant spirit draw him in and he soon realizes one night with her won't be enough. The two of them together have lots of chemistry and their love scenes are smoking hot! At the end of the weekend though, they go their separate ways, and I would have liked Noah to make his next move a little sooner! I felt for Natalie being on the end of the waiting game. But eventually they get their HEA and in the end it was a sexy and satisfying read. 3.5 stars.

HOT! HOT! HOT! Noah and Natalie ended the Vegas Nights series in the same way it began. With a bang. Wild Nights brought the steam. Natalie was the last holdout and Noah was her savior in more ways than one. Friends, fun and finding your prince. What better way to end a road trip? The Vegas Nights series is the perfect place to live out every sultry fantasy. Sexy characters, sensual situations and naughty deeds. Wild Nights held all the fun of a guilty pleasure but without all the calories. This series may seem a little one dimensional but who cares. I found them to be a road trip worth taking. So sad to see it end. My one complaint is that the stories in this series were too short. Copyright of Night Owl Reviews

Wild Night,  Karen Erickson Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews  This is a shortish read at around 100 pages, and takes place over just a few days, except for a break of six weeks before the end. I’d rather read novels that cover a longer time, but of course those need the longer length to play out properly. There’s a market for shorter books, and for a shortish, steamy romance this worked well. The characters feel real and I liked both Natalie and Noah. She’s a nurse on an escape for the weekend blowout that she’s saved for with her two friends, and been planned for a year. Noah is a somewhat jaded rock star. seem like opposites eh? Yet from the start there’s a pull between them that’s more than just a one night stand – that turns into a weekend before they have to part ways. They discover that they just can’t seem to get enough of each other over the weekend, and there’s some seriously steamy and sensual encounters that make for a hot read. Then they’re apart and Natalie is hoping so much for Noah to contact her. Noah though – he’s always been the one night guy, the life he leads isn’t conducive to romance but Natalie – she’s done something to him.... . For me its a little too short, a bit too quick. I like my romances ideally to play out over weeks or months even so everything gets time to be properly laid down. Here its a little too quick for me, hence the three stars.   Stars: Three, a good read, hot and sensual but just a bit too brief for me covering only a few days. Wild Nights by Karen Erickson is the third and final novella from her Vegas Nights trilogy. Each book focused on one of three best friends who take a much needed and deserved jaunt to Las Vegas. The women end up getting invited to a celebrity infused party, which changes all of their lives forever. This last book is all about Natalie, a pediatric hospital nurse. Natalie has always been a good girl, being sheltered from most things in life by her parents. Now all she wants to do is sow some wild oats in Sin City. Noah Wilde is a mega rock-star. Although his band is extremely talented and popular, their public image needs some work. As a result, Noah, along with his other band-members, agree to lay low for the time being. Noah ends up at his friend's party in Vegas, where he meets Natalie. Sparks fly and they spend a sultry, sex-filled weekend together. The old saying "opposites attract" couldn't be any closer to the truth. Wow, what a scorcher! This is both a hot and sexy love story, and Natalie and Noah have amazing chemistry. Ms. Erickson does a fine job of quickly evolving their time together into a relationship. I found Natalie’s excitement and awe when meeting Noah for the first time to be truly genuine. In addition, the ending will leave you smiling from ear to ear. Overall, this is a well-written book and series that should definitely be added to your TBR list. 3.75 stars--WILD NIGHTS is the third installment in Karen Erickson’s adult, contemporary Vegas Nights erotic romance novella series focusing on three friends, and nurses (Andrea, Natalie, Reagan) and a weekend in Las Vegas. This is rock star Noah Wilde, and Natalie’s storyline. The three novellas run parallel to one another, covering the same timeline, wherein each woman will find her happily ever after. While Reagan and Andrea appear to have found their Prince Charmings, Natalie will be introduced to her former teen crush Noah Wilde- the bad boy lead singer of the rock band Wilde and Wicked. Noah isn’t looking for anything permanent; Natalie knows that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, but try telling that to her heart. Six weeks will pass without a word from Noah, leaving Natalie heartbroken and depressed until a song with a very familiar title begins to climb the charts. WILD NIGHTS is a very quick and easy read; a fast paced story of insta lust/love where two people with completely opposite life styles will find love and friendship in the city of sin. There is no explanation behind Noah’s silence and disappearance, but one phone call finds our couple professing their love and hoping for a permanent resolution. Karen Erickson’s VEGAS NIGHTS series of novellas are fun, flirty and predictable. Three friends head to Vegas for a weekend of R&R, and each will find her happily ever after. Once again, there is a little bit of everything: fun, sex, romance and love, with a little bit of heartbreak, on the side. The $ex scenes are erotic and provocative; the world building limited to twenty four hours in the life; the sexual attraction is instant. If you are looking for some fluff and fun storylines with the focus on insta love and lust, without having to worry about broken and dangerous pasts, VEGAS NIGHTS is the perfect series to lose yourself for an afternoon.

4 - "Can I have your cherry?" Stars! What do you get if you cross one inexperienced woman, with one tattooed, sexy and some might say overly experienced rock-star, who meet each other whilst on one Wilde weekend in Las Vegas? That’s pretty simple actually! A quick, sexy and really enjoyable read. Karen Erickson has hit the nail on the head with the Vegas Nights Series, each and every book, although short has been a, absolutely stellar read, and the main thing with them is that they really don’t feel like novellas when you are reading them. I wasn’t sure that I was going to like Natalie when I read Reagan and Andrea’s books, she seemed a little pushy and opinionated. ”You need to quit assuming, sweetheart.” But I liked her speak first, think after attitude in this one, it worked really well with Noah’s to-the-point, say what you think personality, and who doesn’t love a dirty talker in the bedroom! Both had a few little issues in their lives that rounded them out as characters and gave the story depth, and although their coming together was sexy hot, the end of the series was sweetly romantic. ”I’m starting to like bad ideas.” I am a bit of a fan of this author, her stories whether full length or short, quick novellas in general, are entertaining and easy to get into reads, and Wild Nights is another one that definitely goes onto that list with ease.
