I had two of these books (book 2 and book 3) sent to me for an honest review as part of a promotional tour. Now, I prefer to read books in sequence because you can guarantee that it will give away who's with who in book one and that ruins the fun. Luckily, book 1 was free on Kindle when I checked and decided - obviously - to take a break from my ARC list and decided to start this series. It wasn't until I started reading books that I realized how much I love a man in jeans, a cowboy hat and boots. I mean.... WOW. Anyway, back to the book. Cooper Wilde has done everything he can to get out of Old Town, New Jersey. He went to Columbia and then moved to NY and works on Wall Street. Riley also lives in NY, work orientated and not looking for a Wall Street Wannabe. Riley is sent to Rural New Jersey to investigate a fraud claim against a loan taken out Jake Wilde... That's when two neighbors (practically) cross paths miles away from home. Riley's first instinct is to tell the Hick from the Sticks that she's not looking for a Wall Street Wannabe which is part of who Cooper is. She might not see it, but he's part wall, part hick. This makes Coopers lie to Riley so that she can get to know him and fall in love with him before she finds out about who he really is. After crashing her car and losing a bet, she winds up staying at the Wilde house for the weekend. Love QUICKLY blossoms and this was where I found a few "huh" moments. I didn't get the impression Cooper loved her. & I didn't get the impression he was intense like everyone suddenly noted. As a whole, I loved the idea, I just think it was missing something... especially in the sex scenes... it all seem pretty one sided and not as hot as it could have been.. Looking forward to book 2!

This story is a charmer, and funny, and chock full of hunky males. It is also well worth the read. Not only is small town charm lost on Wall Street up-and-comer Riley Smith, it represents the epitome of all that is dull and backward in the world. She can’t believe her bad luck when she has to venture into the backwoods of New Jersey to investigate a possible case of insurance fraud. Another Wall Street mover, Cooper Wilde, couldn’t agree more. Unfortunately, and despite his efforts to hide the fact, this particular small town is his home town. When they run into each other, the attraction is immediate, but too little truth and too much snobbery risk to derail their future. I enjoyed this story right from the start, and it just got better and better, and more and more fun.  Very well done.

Well constructed, superbly written story. It did need more editing however on grammer. It is well worth reading the rest of the books in the series to see how the bothers find love. L.M.A.

4.5 Star Review Wall Street city boy, Cooper Wilde, doesn't appreciate his country roots nearly enough.  He goes back home to help his brothers with the family bar and meets Riley Smith, business loan fraud investigator.  The chemistry between Cooper and Riley was explosive from the start.  Riley doesn't want the Wall Street wannabe, which is why Cooper lets her believe he lives with his brothers in this little country town in rural New Jersey.  Just remember, a lie by omission is still a lie. I love the Wilde Brothers!!!  Cooper is the first to get his story.  The hint of a smile he gives is charming but I found myself holding my breath, waiting for that full on sexy smile.   The only thing I would have liked to see more of, is this fabulous small town and it's residents.  I can't wait to read the remaining books in this fantastic series. *free copy gifted for honest review **originally reviewed for welovekink(dot)com

In some ways this is your typical first novel in a series.  There’s lots of detail where you get to know the various characters and the town the story is set in.  I really appreciate how Young does this, however.  There is a bit of an info dump in the first chapter, but the rest is worked in throughout the novel.  This novel (and the series) takes off right from the get-go.  Young drew me in with her realistic, down to earth characters and kept me there with the captivating storyline.  The story is emotional yet entertaining in the best of ways. You really get down, dirty, and personal with these characters.  Young writes in the first person, flipping between the two main characters, letting the readers into their lives and their minds.  The romance between the main characters in this novel may be of the whirlwind variety, but it is still real, true romance.  Young makes everything so believable.  Oh, and I love Riley’s take on cows.  It rivals me with chickens so I couldn’t stop laughing and it made it oh so easy to identify with her on that extra level that you rarely see in novels.   Overall?  This was a brilliant read.  I loved getting to know Old Town and its residents, as well as falling in love with these main characters.  I’m glad I ventured out into the world of this new (to me) author and will be eagerly reading the rest of the series.

Nice story with a quirk. Enjoyed reading it but found it too short!

The author names the character speaking at the top of each chapter and alternates between Cooper and Riley writing each quite well. Short and thankfully resisting the usual graphic descriptions of sexual activities this is a fun tale of a Wilde brother, coming home again and finding love where you have refused to look before.

First of a four book series... These books are short and deal with 4 brothers in a small Northern New Jersey town... Each brother has his own story... They are not works of art but they are real life stories about people we probably all know... Fun read - one evening and you go to bed feeling good. Recommend!!!

So have a Jersey Girl i decided hey lets go fo it, but no they choose the moutia s as a serting instead of south jersey ( bad form author.) And besides the fact that this book was just horrible with plot and lines oh and the characters were no good wither, it was truly just anti nj. Why you could t decide to at least throw in some of the funny nj dissing jokes i dont know there are more then enough. All you kept saying is new jersey like is self explanatory. And fyi even new yorkers know when you talk about NJ you refer to it has Jersey , theres nothing new about this place.

Don't let your prejudices blind you. This is the lesson the lovers learn in this warm, fun romp. Neither uptight New Yorker or hick New Jerseyite is accurate as they both find out during an unexpected stay in the wilds of New Jersey

I really love Cooper. I like that he is intense. Riley starts with a bit of a tude, but, seems Cooper is good for her.
