I bought this journal and I am quite satisfied with it. The pages are of great quality and the leather like cover feels like the real thing. I have not had any problems with the glue in the binding and I enjoy the flexiblity of the cover when I put it in my bag to go. I wish there were an elastic closure to keep the book closed but other than that I am quite happy with this purchase and would recommend this journal to anyone else who is looking for a book to take out with them to write about life, love, and exceptional coffee.

I am a big fan of the Peter Pauper journal series, and this one is no exception. I'm surprised no one has commented on it. I like it because the cover has the texture and look of leather, but it's not as expensive as the genuine leather journals at B & N (and it's cruelty free!). I love the thick, gold-edged pages, which look as if they'd take pen ink quite well. Also, there is plenty of space between the lines, which is important for someone with big, loopy handwriting like me. At 192 pages, it's thicker than most journals that you'll find in just about any store (160 seems to be the standard). I'm sure this will last me for quite a while. The only problem I have with the journal is that the glue inside the cover is weak, so I'm going to have to re-glue the paper backing. Otherwise, however, I am satisfied. This book is so beautiful that I have half a mind to simply display it and not write in it!
