Will She Remember? By Nancy K. Budd is a heartfelt account of her childhood and adult life during a most challenging time in history. Nancy writes “When you think about your life, there is a lot to remember. Some good, some not so good, it all goes into the mix and tells your story.” Will She Remember? presents her story through the eyes of a child growing into a woman, with the perspective and wisdom that graces her today. She gives glimpses of firsthand feelings, impressions, and experiences that any reader with historical interests will love! Nancy K. Budd has created a treasure with family photos that she is graciously sharing with the public. Her story begins in Paterson, New Jersey during some of the hardest years in America’s history. The Depression was hard on many people, and her family was no exception. Nancy's father was a widower with two children to raise. He worked for a newspaper that was owned by his deceased wife's family. This left Nancy and her brother with their grandparents on her father's side during the day. Nancy loves to recall many warm and wonderful memories of staying with her Gram while her older brother attended school. She moves on through her life with the changes that touch her family, writing about her father remarrying and the subsequent moves that take her to different parts of her life. Nancy K. Budd story continues with experiences and challenges that she met in her career as a nurse, married life, raising a family, career change, and caring for elderly parents. All of these were met with a sense of purpose and adventure that is so much a part of her personality! Nancy currently resides in Florida with her husband and near some of her grandchildren. She is keeping herself active while encouraging others to do the same.
