If you shop at your local Farmer's Market and love great, fresh, and delicious food, don't let this one get away. As an added bonus, the recipes are simple and quick to fix. My family loved vertually every recipe and even my novice-cook teenagers agreed to fix some of the meals. It is a perfect match to the great fresh and sometimes unusual produce available at our local (northern) Farmer's Market. [And if you can't fine something, such as purslane, ask the farmers that you meet there -- they may even agree to grow some for you.] Great for beginners as well as advanced cooks. One of my favorite cookbooks -- and I have hundreds! My only criticism: I would have preferred the recipes be grouped by season.
