About the Author

DB Jones composed melodic flute music for over thirty years with her husband until he passed away in 2002. She remembered what her husband said to her just before he passed, "it's time to discover who Diane is".

And after pondering on that, she remembered how even as a child she'd dream of exciting magical worlds. It wasn't until the recent passing of her mother and brother and their inspiring words of encouragement for her to explore her love of life and the magic inside, did she start writings about these enchanting fantasy worlds she visits.

She decided to pursue what has lain quiescent in the back of her mind. They are magical worlds filled with suspense, intrigue, mystery and adventure. She lets her mind race through vivid colors of imaginary worlds and creatures and the journeys they take; and then beats the keys of her computer to bring them to life for you to read.

I am not into fantasy at all. Trust when I tell you that this book had me from the start. Amazing book. As soon as I began reading this book, I lost all sense of self, as though becoming part of each story. This author immediately captivates you in her magical and intriguing web with a well paced story line and filled with characters who are so in depth that you find yourself feeling like you know them on a personal level. Her imagination and perception of how this story should really be told is completely outstanding and this book deserves way more than five stars. I was completely consumed with this fascinating tale and I know that you will be too. This book had me completely consumed from the very first page. I love this author and her styles of writing. To the author, Great Job and keep up the hard word. Us avid readers appreciate you more than you know.

He beamed and touched noses with Sandpaw. "Hello, young one. You're going to become a great warrior." He looked up at Pearlstar and nodded. "Thank you. I will do my best to teach this young apprintence in the ways of the clan and warrior code." (Sorry if its a bit too formal.) He looked down again at Sandpaw. "You better get some rest. You have a big day tomorrow. Or do you want to train? Your choice." He looked at Pearlstar. "Do you need me?"
