Wind Talker by Kim Murphy

Seasoned police detective Lee Crowley investigates the scene of a partially buried skeleton. A forensic anthropologist determines the remains to be over 200 years old. Reconstruction of the face verifies the skeleton to be Native American--and a mirror image of Lee.

Lee's wife Phoebe is a cunning woman from the seventeenth century. She guides him through the misty world of "the dreaming." She gives him an arrowhead made by his long dead father, and Lee is haunted by his mother's murder. Will the series of strange events connect him with his past? Or will he discover the skeleton was in fact--himself?

Loved the first book and this one was just as good. I feel I learned much about Native Americans and feel so sad at their treatment. We certainly don't use our God given knowledge. Will read the next book!!!!

A very interesting, if different, time travel story. I found it to be a very good and easy read, engaging and I was sorry to have it end! Well done.

This is a great story. I would have given 5 stars but this follows the first book and i feel it should have been kept as one book neither was so long that it couldnt have been one except forcharging you for two books a practice thats gotten even more common since ebooks.
