Winning her Brother's Best Friend (Tea for Two, #2) by Noelle Adams

Ginny Hart loves men. And she loves dating. She just doesn't want a serious relationship. She's tried it before--with her brother's best friend, Ryan--and it's clear she's not cut out for it. So she'll keep having fun and focusing on the new tea shop she recently opened with her best friend.

That's all she needs in her life.

She definitely doesn't need Ryan, who is always hanging around and has turned into a real player. When he challenges her to prove which of them is more popular with the opposite sex, she takes him up on the bet. One month. Four Saturday nights. She'll show him she's not still holding on to old feelings. It doesn't matter if she can't seem to keep her hands off him.

She's not about to let him win.

Fifteen years ago, three girls were thrown together because their brothers were best friends. Now they're all grown up, and their brothers are grown up too. The Tea for Two series tells their stories.

I loved this one. I get to read very short intervals. I couldn't wait to read so I could find out what misstep Ginny or Ryan was going to make to botch their chances for reconciliation. I must say Ms. Adams is an equal opportunity author. She allowed both to tempt cupid to commit suicide. WELL DONE!!

This was a good read like the first one in the series. My only complaint is the length. Seemed too short to me but the story flowed well, it just was a much quicker read than I anticipated. About 100 pages

I really enjoyed the story of Ginny and Ryan. How their love for each other remain for all those years and how she realized later how much she loved him.

All three books in series are very short stories, can be read in an hour or two. Not in love with Ginny, didn't like her in first book and nothing in second book changed that feeling. The idea that two, mature adults would engage in a contest to see who can get the most phone numbers is stupid. I didn't care if Ginny got her man or if her feelings were hurt. Character just wasn't written so that I could like her. Recommend skipping this book, third book is better.

Tea for Two series is set around a tea shop in Blacksburg, Virginia, and is about three girls who are best friends and begin to fall in love with each others brothers. The first book is about Emma and Noah and it was an excellent start with an emotional, deep romance. Now the story is about Ginny (Noah's sister) and Ryan (Carol's brother). She is a co-owner of Tea for Two and he is a veterinarian. They connected in college and were in a relationship, but Ginny was so young and insecure of her feelings and the romance fall apart. Now, Ginny and Ryan are adults and both of them love dating (but not serious relationships). The book begins with a wage of who would get more telephone numbers in a month during Saturday nights. But, it soon begin to become more a re-connection than a competition. In fact, they start to question why they were apart for so long. Noelle Adams is a great author! She writes bold, sweet and real characters that have doubts, insecurities but in the end are just in love with each other. The books are standalone but I highly recommend you read them all! And now we must wait for Patrick and Carol! The geek and the cook! Looking forward to them!
