Winter’s Verdict is the second book in the Grace Restored series by C.J. Peterson that is another gripping story that is filled with humanity and emotion all the way through. An unpredictable tale that is written with great spirit and integrity. I love the author's refreshing stories that are suspenseful and easy to follow, filled with positive messages. This series is listed under Christian fiction but you don't have to be religious to enjoy them and they never feel preachy. Sharing good values never gets old. I liked returning back to Katie's story and getting further into her saga. She is a likable character and relatable. I really enjoyed this latest installment and I look forward to the next book in this entertaining series. The author knows how to pull on your heart strings and capture your attention. The ups and downs had me eager to know how this all would turn out. Winter’s Verdict is another great escape into something powerfully moving. I thoroughly enjoyed the twists and the realistic characters. Great story full of heart and humanity. Quote ~ "I have the feeling we're going to need all the friends we can get in the next coming days. I know several students left the school for good, but when the rest return, people will still be recovering from the blow that someone was actually killed. They were on edge before, but this will be like navigating the blizzard from Christmas Eve. People won't know who to trust," Seb said, somberly.
