About the Author

Margaret J-M Sonmez is a Lecturer in the Department of Foreign Language Education at the Middle East Technical University, Turkey. She has published on the history of language and on literature, and has a special interest in the language of literature. Mine Ozyurt Kilic is a Lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literature at Bilkent University, Turkey. She has published on modern and contemporary British fiction, with a special interest in Angela Carter and Jeanette Winterson.
