Thomas Kinkade emphasized simple pleasures and inspirational messages through his art. Thom believed that both the ability and the inspiration to create his paintings had been given to him as a gift. This book was wonderfully heartfelt, made even better by adding in the Christmas story angle. Family, friendship, hope and love, I couldn't put it down. You really felt connected to the characters and joined them in their journey. And of course a happy ending. Who doesn't love a good warm finish? Great read. I'm hoping to try more of the Cape Light series.
