A wonderful story that captured my heart! We read this one every Christmas to remind ourselves that dreams can come true! A must read for 'kids' of all ages!

This is a wonderful story. It's great to remember that wishes do come true, but not always the way we think they should. Just have a little faith. I love reading this to my preschool class.

I'm 17 years old, and i was given this book when i was little. I have always enjoyed it, and now my little sisters get to enjoy it too. In fact i'm reading it in my 12th grade english class for a project tomorrow!

We are 2nd graders and enjoyed listening to the story about Opus and his wish for wings. CRYSTAL's favorite part was when Santa was falling from the sky into the lake. RASHAD liked when Opus went to Duck's Breath Ridge to try the flap-o-matic. ELIZABETH enjoyed when Opus was surprised because all the thousands of ducks were at his porch. DYLAN liked when Opus went to the statue. KATELYN's favorite part was at the end when Opus got picked up on Christmas morning. DEONTEZ liked when Opus saved Santa. SAMANTHA enjoyed when Opus was pulling Santa's sleigh. TIA liked when the snow ducks were carrying Opus. ZACHARY enjoyed when the snow duck was saying 'Help!' We hope there are more stories about Opus the penguin!

I read this every Christmas morning to my family...and remind ourselves that each one of us is special in our own ways...and then on the Christmas tree there is a little white tissue present, with a red bow tie...something a little fanciful that we get from Opus...might see silly at the time, but its just what we always wanted
