Overview

Angie Baybee Jewel, is a timid soul, who never goes out on a limb and only wants to spend her life designing beautiful gardens. Her magic is of the landscaping variety, and it's not so much magic as a green thumb. But she's talented in that department despite her self doubt, making her a very welcome guest at the Witch Way Inn in the High Sierras. One of the few witch-owned establishments that welcomes all magical and non-magical people, it's a beautiful home refurbished by her cousin Karina, and Angie is considering staying a bit and taking on more duties between her landscaping jobs because it's calm…mostly. At least she has her quiet suite when predator shifters come to stay.

Kit Wilde is a tiger shifter. He's hot, sexy, and daring, is the ringmaster of the circus and the operator of the largest traveling Ferris wheel in the West. He loves travel and excitement and new challenges but feels a call to return home to take up duties as alpha of his tiger streak. Meeting Angie adds a whole new level of worry to his life. The alpha tiger cannot marry a witch. But will the woman his tiger swears is his mate be willing to run away with the circus?

Angie and Kit know they have something special when they set eyes on each other but it seems their destinies lie too far apart to ever find one together. A witch with little or no magic and a tiger alpha who travels with the circus? Impossible? Or not.

Our hero and heroine are each misfits in their own way, but then maybe that makes them right for each other. This is a short paranormal romance story with witches and shifters as the focus. The story is very well written and easy to read, with a fun and quirky style that I found rather enjoyable. Our characters are well fleshed out and provide an intriguing cast for the story. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable evening read and I look forward to reading more from this author. Highly recommended. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout for review purposes.

A very simple yet beautifully written story about a girl who is the only non-magical person in her other wise witchy family. The language, plot, characters, everything is so simple yet so effectively and effortlessly woven together it's amazing to read this book. I really enjoyed it and will be on the lookout for more from this author. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a great book from the humorous and witchy universe of the Magic and Mayhem series. A quick, easily read romance between two people of different species, a forbidden love between a witch and a tiger shifter. Fast paced storyline with a satisfying ending. Loved it! Angie is back at the ole family home but with that comes memories some she doesn't like to remember. She is a witch with barely any power. The only power she has is working magic with gardens. Now she's at the home turned inn to help with the gardens. The first night there she meets a new guest, a tiger shifter. Kit is to be alpha of his clan but left many years before to travel. He now travels with a circus and enjoys all that entails. But this night he finds his attention drawn to the lovely witch. This is a surprise because he has never felt this attraction to any female. Meanwhile Angie herself feels a draw that she can't understand. But his pride will not accept a non shifter or witch as his mate if he is to take over from his father. But will Angie accept him or leave because she feels less with hardly any witchy powers? A cute book about a witch and a shifter and the decisions they must make. Fantastic story and read!! First, I do not really like romance stories, and I am not into shifters. But this story was interesting enough to make an exception and I am glad I did. It has interesting and very likable characters with a compelling story. I definitely recommend this to paranormal romance readers. Witch Way Around by Katie Richards is a novella set in part of the Magic and Mayhem Universe. This story features a witch named Angie Baybee Jewel and tiger shifter named Kit Wilde. This tale is a sweet paranormal love story that reminds you how everyone is special in their own way and that there is a lot of magic everywhere in the world. The characters are fun, whimsical, and the story quite magical especially in the end when the couple gets their happy ever after ending. Witch Way Around is a sweet paranormal love story.

This is a novel that is part of the magic and mayhem Universe. A witch and a tiger shifter can they even get together? Angie Baylee Jewel never knew her father and the secret died with her mother. She was timid and shy, always feeling like her magic was not good enough, at least compared to the rest of the family. Her magic was in gardens. She visits her Aunt at the Witch Way Inn to help plan some gardens. Kit Wilde, a tiger shifter had just come to the Inn as a gift from his bosses at the circus where he was ring master and ran the Ferris wheel. Instant attraction happens, but where could it lead? This is a great short paranormal romance. It is filled with creative and memorable characters that draw you into their story. The narrative and dialogue also help to tell their story by immersing the reader into the scenery and the characters struggles. The characters grow and mature as they deal with their internal struggles. There are a few hot scenes so be aware of them when choosing the book but I think they fit nicely into the flow of the story. It is a great easy to read, short paranormal romance that you’ll enjoy, especially if you are a fan of the Magic and Mayhem Universe. Delightful!!!! This is my first book by this author, and I have not read any of the Magic and Mayhem series, but I can say that I enjoyed it very much and will read more in this series. There were a few typos in the ARC copy, hopefully they will be fixed, making this an even greater read. Angie is a witch, who according to her, has no talent, Kit is a circus traveler and a shifter. Upon meeting, sparks fly, can they make their relationship work? Will his people accept a witch as his mate? Guess you will have to read to find the answers. A very short book, lots of paranormal, and romance. I loved the Ferris Wheel encounter, very unique, lol. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review

Angie Baybee Jewel is not a highly talented witch and instead spends her time in the garden among the plants. She has a natural talent there, with maybe an added magical touch here and there. Her cousin, Karina, owns the Witch Way Inn in the High Sierras and welcomes magical and non-magical guests. Angie loves being there, involving herself with landscaping and the relaxing gardening, and it’s a big help to Karina getting the gardens looking good. If any of the rowdier guests come to stay, the timid and nervous Angie retreats to her quiet suite where she can be alone until the guests move on. Kit Wilde is a tiger shifter. He's sexy and daring, loves wild adventure, and is the ringmaster of a traveling circus. He’s everything Angie is not. But he is Alpha of his clan and is beginning to feel that he needs to settle down and find a mate. When he and Angie meet, it looks like he may have found his mate! But she’s a witch, and witches and shifters are not meant to be together. Can Angie’s family and friends help her to step out of her safety shell and begin to live her life? Will her attraction to Kit overcome her fears? Or will she back down and run away from the man who could give her happiness? This was a good book that I really enjoyed. The characters are very well portrayed, realistic and likable. The story line was well-paced and interesting. Angie has much to overcome to take the brave step of starting a relationship. But she has people who care about her and just maybe she can be true to herself and give it a try.

This is my first book by Kate Richards and I absolutely adore the Magic and Mayhem collections and this one fits right into it. It extremely well written and the characters are beautifully developed. The only complaint is I wish it was longer. I loved Angie and Kit so much that I would have loved to read more about them. It has fun and loving moments throughout the story. It leaves you wishing for more and loving every moment of the story. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint. Angie is a low talented witch, but she does magic in the garden and has a strong affinity to soil and plants. For that reason she is asked to visit her cousin, who runs an inn, and is looking to improve some of the garden areas. The day of her arrival coincides with the arrival of a magical circus and when Angie meets the ringmaster, a tiger shifter, it is fated. A fairly straight forward story with one surprise towards the end, nonetheless quite entertaining for an afternoon read. The late bloomer Witches and shifters, carnivals and flowers, make up the perfect cast for this newest addition to the Magic and Mayhem universe. This is the first book I’ve read by this author, but I loved every minute of it. The alpha finds his mate, who just happens to find her true self, with the help of family and friends. This couple makes it to their HEA with laughter and a roar. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author.
