It's not very often that I'm left speechless. My husband will tell you that it never happens. As readers, we know that every once in awhile, if you're lucky, you find a book that you can honestly say may be your favorite. And I don't mean your favorite that you read this week or this year, I mean your favorite. This is that book for me. As I write this review, I still have 5% left of the book. I will be heartbroken when it ends. The ending (well close to the ending - you'll know the part I'm talking about when you read it) is so amazing - like nothing I've read before. I refuse to finish it until I can sit down with no interruptions and live in every single word. The story starts with Abby shopping for an urn. It's not until at least half way into the book that we learn what is in the urn, but that's something you'll have to read the book to find out. As she's shopping, looking at all of the ridiculous urns on display, she's interrupted by a guy who walks up to her and starts talking to her - joking about the urns. She thinks to herself, what kind of guy does such a thing? That would be Beck. Beck is just...charming, funny, arrogant, sexy as hell and just the epitome of everything you'd want in a guy. Their banter continues as Abby tells him that the urn is for her dog and that's she's taking a road trip to spread the ashes, thinking that her lie will scare him off. He invites himself on her road trip, gives her his number, grabs a slurpee from across the street and drives away. What comes next has to be the funniest and banter filled road trip ever. The back and forth between Abby and Beck is just amazing. The adventures they go on, the ways that they make fun of one another, and ultimately, the way that they love one another is just perfect. There isn't more about the story I can tell without giving things away and I refuse to do that - this is one you have to experience for yourself. Well I finished it and I am at a loss of words - R.S. Grey has an amazing book here. One that will stay with me for a very long time. With This Heart may very well be one of my favorite books that I've EVER read. There aren't enough stars out there for me to give this one a star-rating
