Overview

The mid-west town of LaPorte, is a beautiful part of the state of Indiana. Unfortunately there are parts of the town that have seen better days, resulting in people and businesses to leave the area. Sidney Keller is one of the few residents that has opted to stay in this run down part of town. He stays mostly to himself, but due to a chain of events that began to happen on a cool spring evening, all that was about to change. Strange noises and a trembling house, cause Sidney to leave the comfort of his home and seek help from strangers. The help he finds, only adds to the mystery. Without knowing it, he has started an investigation that leads to a nightmare discovery for the small town he lives in, because of that, a second situation comes to the light of day. A much more dangerous discovery is made. A plan to destroy the United States as we know it. A plan that has been in the making for years. It is a joint effort by the countries of North Korea and Iran. The problem now is that there is almost no time left to stop the attack. Several former federal agents, working for a nuclear power company, never realized it at the time, but are employed by the potential terrorist without even knowing it. They are now faced with the task of trying to get information from an unlikely source that could lead to stopping the pending attack. The request made by the informer leads to a mountain of obstacles that must be overcome, before he hands over the desperately needed information. Unfortunately, their time has all but run out. This story will keep you turning the pages, you may even find yourself wondering. "Could something like this could actually happen???"
