Each time I read one of these Love Inspired novels I am amazed by how much I like them. I always look forward to reading these books and I was very anxious to read Witness on the Run. Once again, I was completely delighted with my reading experience. Hope has created a story that gets the reader's attention right from the start and holds it throughout. There is a lot of excellent suspense in this story, but that is just part of what I loved about it. Robin and Jake were very real characters and their chemistry felt natural. The romance element of Witness on the Run helped to reduce some of the tension of the suspense which gave the story a nice, balanced feel. Jake was the perfect hero for Robin. Still dealing with the guilt and shame of not being able to protect his mother, Jake is determined to do everything he can to protect Robin and help her regain the memory she lost in the accident that Jake feels he caused. I really enjoyed watching their relationship and their faith grow during their stressful and difficult time. Robin and Jake both had obstacles to overcome in order to be ready to love and that brings this book to a very satisfying conclusion. I really loved this book. I loved everything about it. The writing was strong, the story moved very fast. I loved the characters and I especially loved the Christian message. I highly recommend Witness on the Run. It is definitely going to be on my favorite books the year list. I can't wait to read more from Hope White. I really responded to her writing and want to read more.

These "Love Inspired" series are all so good...really enjoyable quick reads. This one in particular was fantastic! It draws you in immediately, and the end of each chapter leaves you hanging to the point that you just HAVE to keep reading - no matter what other things may be calling for your attention. I loved these characters, loved the inn and the family the main characters stayed with - felt like I could almost picture the place in my mind. Really, really a great book.

"Witness on the Run" by Hope White is a shorter novel of 171 pages. Although it was a good read, it was not the best novel I have read in the "Love Inspired Suspense Series;" but for the inexpensive price it does provide a combination of supense, love, and drama.
