In Boston the Jones family is one of the wealthiest Black families in the city this also keeps them in the limelight with all of the right people. Dominic Jones is the owner of Jones Consultants. He loves all of the power and respect that his money has afforded him. His most prized attribute is being able to juggle time for his added bonuses and still continue being an adored husband and father. Will Dominic's cheating and self-aggrandizing ways be right for Tera Larou, a professional girlfriend. Donna Wynn-Jones for 15 years has been her husbands' right hand, his personal assistant as well as a cheerleader for any and everything pro Dominic. Never questioning him about his time or added bonuses, Donna was fulfilled just by being the wife. Lacking any personal time, Donna has started to spend more time getting in tune with self. Just as the regimen appears to be working Tera Larou, her husband girlfriend begins to meddle. It's only a matter of time before Tera Larou gets what she has coming to her. WIVES AND GIRLFRIENDS quickly becomes a case of who done it and instigates what people are willing to do to keep dirty little secrets. Nishawnda Ellis has told a sharp, gripping tale that will leave you breathless as you anticipate the ending.

HEADLINE: Woman Found Murdered In Her Condo.

The victim...
The licentious Tera Larou was the best at what she did. She was a "professional girlfriend." Sexy, beautiful, intelligent, and sexually adventurous, Tera had absolutely no trouble trapping wealthy men in her web of seduction. Why be a wife when you can be a girlfriend she reasoned. It's better being a girlfriend; the benefits are endless and there is no stress or worry. Leave that to the wife.

Well for someone, Tera did her job just a little too well. And for that, she had to die. Who done it?

The police lineup...

SUSPECT number one - Dominic Jones, her last known suitor. Dominic is a wealthy prominent entrepreneur. He's the married father of one. To onlookers he has the perfect family. But inside it's anything but. Tera is only the most recent in a long line of girlfriends for Dominic. When one wears out her usefulness, he simply moves on to the next. When moving on was harder than anticipated, did Dominic resort to murder?

SUSPECT number two - Donna Jones, wife of Dominic. Donna knows her marriage is in trouble and has been for years. She's no dummy. She knows that Dominic has cheated on her. How many business trips and late night meetings can one man have? Battling with her weight, depression, and troubled marriage, did she see murder as her only solution?

SUSPECT number three - Jacob Evan, Dominic's business rival and former suitor of Tera's. Jacob and Tera "dated" until she found a bigger and better opportunity in the form of Dominic, but not before getting what she could from Jacob. Would losing his woman to his enemy drive Jacob to murder?

The only thing anyone is certain of is that Tera is dead and someone killed her, but who?

Nishawnda skillfully crafts a who-done-it that keeps readers guessing until the end. Just when you think you know who did it, she plants seeds of doubt. Many have motive, but whose motive led them to commit murder? Drama, murder, revenge - it's all here. I truly enjoyed Wives and Girlfriends and look forward to Ms. Ellis' next creation.

I loved this book because it kept you in suspense. This book chapters where the type that, if you finished one, you had to read the other and the other and the other (lol) next thing you knew, you are at the Dr.s office, Work, sneaking and reading to find out whats really going to happen. I was a great shocker at the end, and I enjoyed it, I loved it so much Im trying to find other books with her name on it, if all her books are like this one. GREAT JOB!

It had movie quality with the motives for the murder well spelled out. The professional girlfriend was an eye-opener. Men need to be aware. They aren't the only game players. A fast read.

Nish, good job I read this book in oneday, your were right the suspense was there to determine who killed Tera. I tell you Donna put up with alot and she did the right thing by divorcing Dom, he thought he was the man and Donna could not leave him. Good job, I will be waiting for the sequel. I was at the hair salon at the right time to buy this book. God bless you on your good works Erica
