I'm confused.... Is this an MC book, a gang book or a shifter book? There is nothing at all indicating throughout this entire book, which by the way is more of a novella, that this is an MC book. I mean there were some bikes mentioned like twice, Lex mentioned a club once, every other time this group of bikers was referred to as a gang not a club, even Lex ended up referring to them as a gang. This novella involved more of a shifter plot than anything MC related, so I think it's fair to say this is just a shifter novella, not a MC book. With that being clarified, this actually wouldn't have been so bad if it didn't end on a slight CLIFFHANGER! I know this is part of a Trilogy but I assumed that we would get three full length books, not little snippets with cliffhangers designed to keep us hanging just so we can purchase the next book in line. That may work for other readers but it sure as hell doesn't work for me. So while I enjoyed Tammie's spunky attitude and nose for news; Lex's brooding and mysterious ways; not to mention the whole mystery of the Wolf attacks, I will not invest any more time nor money into any more short ass books with cliffhangers. .. I know it's confusing on the MC portion but in all honesty I think the way the book is and ends that it will be better explained in the other books in the series. But other than that I loved this book can't wait to read more!!!!

It was... Okay? It was not very interesting. I found myself skipping over a lot of the pages and just skimming. Also at the end of the book there is a notice for a sequel that is not on Nook, I have a feeling it would have been much better if the author Kathryn Thomas had made it one book instead of two. That being said I have not read the sequel and I honestly don't have an interest in tracking it down because I was so underwhelmed by this book.
