ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Tyler Darling was raised in Coconut Grove, Miami, Florida. She has traveled a road most of us would not venture down. As she says, "I was either very lucky or blessed with guardian angels to have survived."

Tyler has two sons, two grandchildren, and as she puts it, "My four fur babies!" Ms. Darling has lived in many exotic places, e.g. Malaga, Spain; Montréal, Québec; the island of St. Lucia; Vancouver, British Columbia, to list a few. She has lived in or visited all but seven of the United States.

Her spare time is filled with training dogs, reading and music. She is an avid student of other cultures. In fact she has hosted twenty-seven foreign exchange students, mostly from Eastern Europe; one at a time of course, for a period of a year. She volunteers with Hospice and the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
