Overview

This Boston-based band should be out filling up the larger venues shortly. This is one of the brightest spots to come from the Northeast (though I hear they have since broken up). There is some very good songwriting here. All the tunes are written by various members of the band. There are tight vocal harmonies that owe more than a little debt to country and the rapidly dissolving lines of music. They can rock the room with the big boys, give a listen to "Living in Between" or "Long Way Left to Go." Yet when they settle out with a pleasant ballad like "Believe in You" they don't lose their identity at all. Comparisons to Bruce Hornsby or the Jayhawks are easy, but that isn't fair to anyone. Just put them on and give a good listen, see if you don't start wanting to turn it up. It is music that should be blasting out of your car as you cruise on down the road in style with a warm smile.
