About the Author
a poet/playwright/essayist located in central Illinois. My poetry has appeared in the following journals: Euphemism, BlazeVox, and Adroit Journal. My poetry has also been selected by Sandbox Theatre for a creative dance piece in 2012. Also, I have been a featured poet of the Peoria Poetry club on several occasions. In addition, I have won awards from the Fulton County Council for their Spoon River creative writing contest. My essays have appeared in the journal Euphemism. Additionally, I have a work in a forth-coming anthology, Chica Peeps. In 2010, I won the Heartland Ten-Minute Play contest and was a semi-finalist in 2012. In 2013, I had a ten-minute worked published by Independent Playwrights. I have additionally had ten minutes plays produced in 2012 and 2013 by Cornstock Theatre. Also, Katie Rasmussen Theatre and the Delavan Theatre Company have produced my plays.
