Overview

Word to Death is a completed cozy mystery. My character, Liv Anderson, owns the White House Dollhouse store in Minneapolis, and has a doctorate in American history, specializing in the First Ladies. A Mary Lincoln impersonator from the Mary Todd Lincoln House is invited for a special tea at Inga’s Antique Store which is located nearby. Before her death, she asks Liv about her knowledge of the speech which Abraham Lincoln had given in Bloomington, Illinois about slavery. It was titled the, Lost Speech. Liv had never heard of it until this moment. When the impersonator, is murdered outside of Liv’s store door, she becomes concerned. Upon her research, Liv learns that speech was never located and could be worth a fortune. Later, it’s learned that the killer is after the famous speech. Liv stands between the manuscript and the killer, who will find it first?
