Overview

Wordless by May Sage, Addendum Designs

The vampires took over, and twenty-one-year-old small town girl Fay Turner had thought it meant that every human like her was destined to be a slave or a servant.
Then, William came and set her free.

She's enrolled in the Academy, alongside humans and vampires alike, and there, she learns that she wasn't just one amongst many; she was a victim.
She strips herself of every vulnerability she can shed.
But after spending so long as a slave, can she adapt to a world where she has to carve her own path?

William is used to freeing slaves, he's done it again and again. He knows the drills. But from the beginning, Fay is different.
For one, his rule of never getting involved with an ex-slave is about to go down the drain... just as soon as she can open her mouth and actually say what's on her mind.

Interesting story and wild This is a cool story based in a world where vampires have taken over. I think this is a cool concept because in a lot of stories where everyone knows vampires are real they tend to live side by side with humans even when humans start trying to kill them. So I think it's a great choice for the vampires to take over when they are threatened it makes a lot of sense. May does a great job of explaining all of this through the rest of the story instead of just having a huge boring chunk of the history of how the world is how it is. The main characters (Fay and William) and both interesting people with a lot to them. Even though Fay has gone through some horrible stuff she's still tough and has a good idea of who she is and what she wants. It's also great that both William and fay have other things going on in their lives, and that sure they think and interact with each other but their worlds don't 100% revolve around the other. There are also a lot of other characters who each have interest relationships with the main characters.
