An up-dated copy I planed to buy as a gift. I purchased both paper and nook. Ninety five year old aunt works with both to do her x word puzzle she is very happy, the "system" works for her. paper to find page, nook for larger print.

If you want quick facts on just about anything, then get this almanac. We keep it in our den for quick reference on actors, movies, sports and just about everything. It has settled more than one disagreement with facts.

I have been buying the World Almanac from Barnes & Noble for many years. I have used the information contained therein for term papers when I was attending evening classes at Rutgers University. After graduation I still continue to purchase these books merely to keep up with the latest facts and figures of the financial community, the biographic data of foreign countries in the world today, population shifts, as well as federal budgets. This is only a small example of how I use the information contained in this type of book. When a question comes up anywhere in the media, all I do it to refer to my Almanac for the answer. Ordering a book from Barnes & Noble on line is so easy now that I frequently visit its WebSite. VEETZ...
