TOWING THE LINE
I need a new start. Anonymity. In a country where no one will know me, and the havoc I create.
Not all the rumors about me are true. But I made one mistake too many in LA and attending an Australian college for a few semesters is the perfect solution.
I plan on avoiding guys. But the part-time tutor and sexy Aussie artist Ashton? Has me re-evaluating the wisdom of being a reformed bad girl.
Ash is aloof, dedicated, serious, and I must corrupt him. So I seduce him. Not expecting to fall in love for the first time. And the last.
Because Ash has high standards and when he learns the truth about me, he’ll join the long list of people in my life pretending I don’t exist.

This box set contains 3 new adult romance stories. The following is my review of the books in the set. Crossing the Line In this new adult romance we are treated to the story of Mia and Kye. When Kye ends up in Santa Monica to hone his tennis skills, hooking up with the daughter of the tennis academy's owner was not part of his plan. But Mia is tired of being the good girl, and when the chance to prove something to herself comes up, she jumps in with both feet and Kye is helpless to resist. But what will happen when her two week vacation is up and they go their separate ways? I quite liked this story. Mia was a friendly, beautiful young woman, tired of all the jocks that she is exposed to regularly at her dad's tennis academy and when she sees Kye at a party she can tell that he is looking for an escape from the expectations of the crowd just as she is. She's not afraid to speak her mind to him and vice versa, which is exactly what they both need, someone willing to be upfront and honest. Kye is well portrayed as a handsome young man with anger issues from events in his past. While he takes his anger out on the tennis court, his realization that he can't let it control his life anymore is the start of his growth and maturity. The sexual attraction between them sizzles and taking advantage of it cements their initial feelings for each other. The love scenes between Kye and Mia are steamy and emotional. I also really liked the fact that it was centred around tennis as a sport. I'm a huge tennis fan, so this was a big plus for me. However as in any sports romance, the assumption is that the reader may not necessarily know much about it so it's written at a level for anyone to read. Overall I found this to be a fast and entertaining story, with a believable romance between two young lovers finding their way in the world with help from each other. 4 stars! Towing the Line This delightful new adult romance is the story of Dani and Ash. Dani has travelled halfway across the world to Australia in an effort to clean up her life and get serious about her future. There she meets Ash, an artist working hard to support himself and his ill mother. Though they seem to be a mismatched pair, there is an attraction between them that neither can deny and a no-strings attached affair seems like a great idea. Until they each realize that somehow their hearts have gotten involved and when Dani's time in Australia is up, going their separate ways might be harder than they thought. It was fun to read a book with a role reversal from the norm - usually the guy is cast as the playboy and the girl is on the straight and narrow. Not so with this story! Dani is the ultimate party girl - drinking, drugs and too much sex, a consequence of being a rich kid with parents who ignored her. Travelling to Australia to go to college may have been an extreme choice but it's what she needs to buckle down and make something of herself. She has a negative self image, one brought on by disastrous decisions in her past, but at heart she is a kind person who wants to make up for her mistakes. Ash on the other hand is studious, serious about his studies and his art. He's doing his best to provide for his mother's care. He is portrayed as a friendly, caring man. Meeting a beautiful girl like Dani and having a relationship with her isn't in the cards for either of them. I really liked both of these characters and how they were able to meet in the middle and enjoy each other's company. Over the course of the book they both change in positive ways and this enabled them to see each other as more than just bed buddies. The sexual attraction between them is obvious from their first meeting and the love scenes between them were a perfect blend of steamy heat and tender emotion. Overall I found this to be a quick and entertaining read with an interesting setting, likeable characters and a sweet romance. 4 stars! Blurring the Line This reunited lovers story is that of Annabelle and Joel. Next door neighbours in their home town, one night between them changes their friendship but also puts Joel on the run, and when they meet a few years later halfway across the world it's as if fate is pulling them together again. Can they recapture their lost friendship and find their way back into each others arms? I quite enjoyed this new adult romance. With alternating points of view, we get insight into the thoughts and feelings of both main characters. They have the memories of their childhood friendship in conflict with their sexual attraction to each other, showcasing that they are all grown up now and are capable of a mature relationship. Joel's past family experiences have shaped the man he is now and he guards his heart carefully, but Annabelle has a way of reaching him that no other woman has. Their love scenes were steamy and well written. I also enjoyed the camaraderie with the other characters in the story who have had their own books in the series. This was a quick and entertaining read with a sweet and sexy romance. 4 stars.
These three intertwined stories drew me into a sensual world of romance. Each book is well-crafted and cleverly plotted. I loved all the characters. I really couldn't pick a favorite. They are all well written and enjoyable. These novels have it all. There's love, laughter, joy and pain. Each one flows easily into the next. I was riveted by these sensual love stories. The passionate relationships are tender and deeply touching. The witty banter as well as the varied settings add so much to the series. Nicola Marsh has done a wonderful job. Her flawless writing drew me in to a world of love and commitment. The World Apart Boxed Set is definitely a keeper.
