Change is on the Way Singer Sam Cook said it best, "A Change is Gonna Come." But Bo Jack Jones is tired of waiting. The world-renowed hip-hop artist is ready to bring on the revolution himself. Tired of injustice, rampant racism and an America that is anything but "The Land of the Free," Jones enlists the help of a new group called The Truth Commission to right the wrongs of this country's past. The Revolution will not be televised The Truth Commission is working overtime to bring light, life and freedom to a New America - by any means necessary. First up, expose the real story behind Tupac Shakur's murder. Then, liberate nonviolent drug offenders who have been left to die in the penal system. The Commission was already on a mission - now with Bo Jack Jones leading the way, it's the dawn of a new day. A modern day Robin Hood, Jones is using his money, power and fame to go to war against a system that doesn't want to be changed.

About the Author

Jihad was a smart child growing up in a single-family home in Indianapolis, Indiana and Atlanta, Georgia. But, by the age of 16, he was selling drugs and embarking on a criminal career that seven years later would lead him to prison, but not before his lifestyle would cause him to be stabbed, shot, and left paralyzed from a car accident. Although over time he miraculously regained the use of his legs he still served over seven years in six different federal prisons up and down the east coast. While serving time, Jihad looked up to a group of older socio-political self-taught prisoners who raised his awareness about himself and his past. He discovered books, mostly by black authors and historians, which was something that never spurred his interest while in school. Jihad started researching and writing about subjects that he was sure many misunderstood, like History, religion, hood-psyche, and society in general. His focus and discipline prepared him to write his first book, an autobiographical account of his life, the award-winning national bestselling novel, STREETLIFE which is taught in schools, such as Fordham University, University of Texas, and others. Jihad has gone on to write 10 award winning, national bestsellers such as the trilogy Preacherman Blues, Wild Cherry, Preacherman Blues 2, Babygirl, Rhythm & Blues, Love, Sex, & Revenge, MVP, MVP Reloaded and WORLD WAR GANGSTER, His most cherished and most acclaimed work to date is a self-help book of true-to-life inspirational short stories entitled THE SURVIVAL BIBLE: 16 Life Lessons for Young Black Men.

Jihad calls his genre of literature conscious hip-hop fiction. His goal is to be the voice of the thousands of self taught positive prison inmates that will never be heard. As Kanye West, Common Sense, Jada Kiss, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, NAS, and other conscious hip hop artists are setting the music industry on fire with their lyrics of hope and change Jihad is doing through his writing.

Jihad is a single full-time father of one, who lives in a suburb outside of Atlanta. Jihad is a motivational speaker, creative writing coach, life coach and full time college student. He is also the founder of The Jihad Uhuru Wake Up Everybody Foundation which is dedicated to re-educating urban youth.

Beaureguard Jones, aka Bo Jack, is a rapper, but he is a big player in the plan. What plan? A plan he knows nothing about…not yet anyway. John ‘Tarzan’ O Reilly works for the drug task force. He acquired the name Tarzan from his fellow officers because he was the only white officer in Zone 5 in Atlanta. Brandon is Bo Jack’s brother and Johnetta is their mother. Are they part of the plan too? If so, what part do they play and are they aware of the knowledge they will acquire along the way? Jihad’s “World War Gangster” is a story of politics, conspiracy, murder and secret societies. This is a story that will challenge you to think of present day and past situations. Although the many plots presented were confusing at times, the story was pulled together in the end. There were a few editing issues but not enough to take away from the story. At first I was a little bit confused but as I continued to read these two books sucked my in. By the time I finished part two it felt like I just walked out of a movie theatre.
