Wrath (The Lieutenant Harrington Series, #1) by E.H. Reinhard

Wrath: The Lieutenant Harrington Series, Book 1

Miami homicide lieutenant Nash Harrington has seen countless murders. Blood and bodies are nothing to lose sleep over.

Yet what seems to be a run-of-the-mill murder stemming from infidelity turns into a full-blown killing spree.

For this killer, taking the lives of his wife and her lover is merely the beginning. He’ll take the deceit no more. His decision has been made. All the women who've wronged him in the past will die.

Harrington quickly finds the case turning personal when the killer's focus inches closer and closer to home.

Unknown to the lieutenant, one of his loved ones has a history with the killer. And that history is etched in the killer’s mind.

Enjoyable

Lt. Harrington is a heck of a police officer and WRATH shows how good a detective he is. With a team of dedicated and smart detectives, crime scene investigators, coroner's and officers, he's able to bring in the bad guys or bring them down. I highly recommend the "LT. HARRINGTON" series.

Too much detail on character movements in routine settings when there is no connection with the plot. Good storyline, enjoyed the twists.

I really liked the dog. I would be more hyper vigilant searching my home.

Overall this was a good read. The author tended to share pointless details about the story's surroundings. It's important to know which details illustrate the story in a way the reader isn't simply distracted. I will, however read more titles by this author.

It kept my heart racing throughout the book. Scary situations. Loved it.

This is a story of revenge, one man with several women who tire of him quickly and move on. What he does is pathetic, rather than find out why. Good read.

Lt. Harrington does a wonderful job examining all the clues and even some that I don't think your readers considered. The story moves forward and is a page turner. I expect to read more of this series.

Just to unrealistic and vague.

Good book to read. Of course I did wonder how a police detective's house could have so many unsecured hiding places. Still worthy to read.

Terrific characters and Reinhard tells it with no holds barred. Great adventure of tracking and capturing a sick and scheming serial killer.

Not really a mystery, but a serial murder story. As a detective, it didn't seem very smart leaving a door unlocked for the dog. Knowing the killer had used that as an entry once, why would you continue to leave it unlocked after an attack and why would you not search your house. Edge of your seat drama and a good quick read

Enjoyed the book and ordered “Beset.” Please correct the word ‘ahold.’ There is no such word. He got hold of .... NOT he got ahold of....!
