About the Author

Amazon bestselling author Kirkus MacGowan wrote his first book at age eight about traveling to Mars to find the cure for cancer. He put his writing dreams on hold for twenty-five years and focused his energies on playing baseball. He moved on when he found playing softball with his friends more enjoyable than his pipe dream.

Since then, he graduated with a B.S. in Psychology, married a woman too good to be true, and moved back to his hometown. He gave up an amazing career waiting tables and now stays at home with his two crazy children. He spends his time writing thrillers and fantasy, playing softball with friends, enjoying the occasional computer game, and wrestling with his kids.

I loved this book! Again, Kirkus made me care for the characters as if they were part of my family. I found myself caring about the characters throughout the day when I wasn't even reading. I love the interactions between John and Alan, two brothers with the conflicting relationship most brothers share. Kirkus has the amazing ability to make his books feel like reality. His attention to detail made me feel as if I stood in the room with John and the rest of the characters which was quite scary at times! I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster. I found myself gripping the edges of my eReader with my nose inches from the screen out of fear for the characters, then laughing out loud at some goofy comment by John. The scenes in Wrath remind me of the murder mysteries found on Criminal minds only with hometown police officers instead of FBI agents. If you are looking for an intense read with realistic characters, read Wrath. You won't regret it. Thanks for another wonderful read, Kirkus!
