Marcus Valente, a twenty-first century volcanologist, was collecting data near the crater of the volcano when a tremor knocked him to the ground and sent him rolling down the side. When Aemilia rescues him, he gets his first sight of the city. A glittering, thriving Pompeii and not the two thousand-year-old ruins he expects. Marcus decides he must be in a bizarre dream, one where Mount Vesuvius has yet to erupt. He soon discovers that the most famous volcanic eruption in history is less than twenty-four hours away.
Aemilia Nautius would never have guessed that fleeing for her life could be so exciting. The volcano Vesuvius cannot compare to the inferno about to erupt within her. Especially when the man who comes to her rescue is hotter than the Fire God himself.
To My Readers:
While exploring the ruins of Pompeii, I felt surrounded by the spirits of those who fled for their lives that final day. The skeletons of a mother and infant that had been uncovered in the debris inspired me to write WRATH OF THE FIRE GOD. Theres nothing more adrenaline inducing than feeing for your life. Unless its falling in love.

About the Author
Yes, Bambi is my real name.
I grew up on a farm in South Georgia. My high school was very small with a graduating class of less than 100 people. Shortly after high school, I met my wonderful husband who took me to Belgium, where a three-year tour turned into fifteen. While living in Europe, I nurtured my love of all things medieval. I often get homesick for Belgium, but with the world wide web, Im home with the click of a mouse. I now live with my husband and son in North Alabama.
When not plugging away at my keyboard, I teach World History. I love to ride my big, black Tennessee Walker, Jamaica. My husband and I each have a Harley to go with our collection of classic cars and hot rods.
