Overview

Wristwatch by Tajiye L. Antwine

"This book is about the ultimate continued existence. Survival is the fact of remaining alive or in existence, especially after facing life-threatening danger, or of continuing in a present position or office. Vietnam has been spoken of greatly and you can read about it in numerous history books. The best historic moments are not always told until now. I had the honor, privilege and opportunity to sit down with a man who has been to hell and back and lived to tell his tale. Finally, Vietnam told from the perspective of a Black Man. This synopsis was written in red to recognize all the blood that was shed over in Vietnam. I here now announce to you-WRISTWATCH."

Such a compelling story told from a new style of writing that is remarkable. Poetry in motion, factual and full of incredible circumstances is what this military bio brings to the table. Savanna *****

This was a bold move by author Tajiye L. Antwine aka poet Brother Hypnotic and indeed a smart choice. He has blessed us with his wisdom and way with words with his poetry and now took it a step future with this military bio about Vietnam. Much love to you brother and continue to bless us with you talent. My dad served in Vietnam and he absolutely loved you book and that says a lot. Love, Jaz

I’ve been waiting almost three years for this book and I am glad to be one of the first to purchase it when it hit book stands worldwide. Charles Young Sr. is now a part of not only Black History but American History. A must read and it has the type of story that can be made into a biopic on the big screen. 5 stars x 10. Sara

This book needs to be made into a movie. Truly a testament to the author and Charles Young Sr. The book cover caught my eye and the story lived up to the hype I’ve been hearing about surrounding this book. Great job and continued success! ***** Damon Smith
