About the Author

Eric Shaw Quinn’s debut novel, Say Uncle, the comic tale of an eccentric gay man who receives custody of his nephew, took ten years to find a publisher and was immediately optioned for film upon its release. As Quinn Brockton, he wrote two original novels (Never Tear Us Apart and Always Have, Always Will) based on characters from the hit Showtime series Queer as Folk. His time as the “ghostwriter” for a certain celebrity landed him a spread in the National Enquirer and earned him the title of Amazon’s #1 chick lit author for 2004. The Prince’s Psalm, his historical romance based on the Old Testament Books of Samuel, will be published in June 2016 by Itineris, a new imprint of Dreamspinner press. He is also the co-host and executive producer of the popular podcast, The Dinner Party Show with Christopher Rice & Eric Shaw Quinn. (www.TheDinnerPartyShow.com) Write Murder is the first in his all new mystery series.

Long time "The Dinner Party Show" listener, I have come to absolutely fall in love with Mr. Quinn. As a matter of fact, I was there the day the show launched. Ok I wasn't there, but listened from Nevada LOL! Anyway, I immediately loved his sense of humor, dry puns, and his elegant way with words. But what I didn't know, was how wonderful his brain is for writing. Even after reading his funny, "Say Uncle" did I have any clue how amazing, the long awaited, Write Murder was going to be! As you crack into the murder mystery, you are met by Paige, the ghostwriter to none other than "the most famous woman in the world," Angel Panderson. Poor bloke thinks he is getting a good writing gig. Unfortunately, it's more like getting stuck with that one kid in class, that kicked the back of your chair, repeatedly, until you lost your mind and hit him with your school books. I really wish I could blurt out everything I loved about this book, but it would show way too many spoilers! What I can say, is be prepared to literally laugh-out-loud, as these two wannabe-detectives, try to save their own butts from a murder charge, when Angel's fiancee is found dead on the night of their engagement party. Filled with loads of who-done-its, twists and turns, and humor by the plenty, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good murder mystery and a good laugh! Well done, Mr. Quinn!!! Oh, also, what I can add, you really don't see that coming! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS BOOK! Total 5 cookies! HAM SANDWICH! *click*
