About the Author

Michelle Medlock Adams is an award-winning author of more than ninety books, with close to four million books sold, including her best-selling What Is . . .? board book series. Michelle has written countless articles, helped pen a New York Times bestseller, hosted TBN’s “Joy in Our Town” TV program, and taught at more than one hundred writers conferences. Michelle is married to her high-school sweetheart Jeff. They have two married daughters, two grandsons, and two granddaughters.

As an accomplished children’s and nonfiction writer in his own right, Cyle Young has won more than twenty writing awards.
