Overview

Wrong by Jana Aston

I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma's boy? Check, check and check.

Now I can't stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It's just a harmless crush, right? It's not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It's not like I'm going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he's the doctor. Shoot. Me.

But what if, for once, the man I've had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong?

Wrong is a full-length, standalone novel by Jana Aston

So I thought this book was going to be about an unrealistic romance between a 21 year old college student and a gynecologist 15 years older...and nearly gave up reading because it was such a ludicrous storyline....but somewhere along the way I fell in love with the story....despite its fairytale nsture....and the characters....and was hooked. If romance novels are make believe, embrace this one...and ND u tho does not disappoint!

I've read a lot of books, but none quite like this. I read it in one sitting. Couldn't put it down! Who needs bathroom breaks anyway? Great ALPHA male with a woman who matches him toe to toe. Must read!

I so enjoyed this book. It was a total surprise. I laughed out loud, loved Luke and Sarah and all of the supporting characters. It was hot and sexy and the story line was not ridiculous! Loved it! I still want more!

This book had me laughing and then feeling so bad for the main character.i really enjoyed this book but I really wish the author had included more pages about how the family reacted to news, the grandparents and his parents. I would have like to see more of a story develop there. The end just felt really rushed like the author got tired of writing.

Wrong never felt so right! I cannot believe this is a debut novel. This book is witty, sexy, and really funny. I was laughing out loud all by myself like a lunatic. Sophie and Luke shouldn't work together, but they do. Sophie is a great female lead. She is someone we all could relate to and she could be our best friend. And Luke is just hot. The sex is steamy as hell. It's all the things. All the everythings. The cast of supporting characters is well written and interesting -I would love Everly's story! I really cannot say enough. There's nothing left to say except buy the book, read it, and love it as much as I do. It's one of my top reads of 2015!!

Really enjoyed this novel by new author, Jana Aston. Aston's plot is very clever, and I was unable to put the book down--read it in one night. This book is hot, hot, hot with just the right amount of humor! Looking forward to reading future books by Aston. No cliffhanger and a HEA.

No going to lie, the whole getting off during the gyno appointment was just all kinds of wrong and creepy!  I don’t care how hot he is.  I have a hot DR too, I don’t get off when he is down there conducting business, I would DIE of mortification! But that’s just me. Luke is so much older than Sophie, he is 36 to her 21.  That’s 15 years and it showed in his high-handedness with her.  I thought at first it was because he was a DOM and that was the direction the story was going to take.  No, he is alpha and likes control but she is so young and naïve, that Luke quickly steps into the role as her caretaker/boyfriend.  My first marriage was to a man 10 years older, and speaking from personal experience, this gets old quickly.   Other than the awkward gyno visit, that just left me going ewwww.  The rest of the story was scorching when it came to Sophie and Luke.  It wasn’t a big surprise where they wound up, and I hope we see glimpses of their life in future books in the series.   This is the first book I have read or listened to by Jana Aston and I really enjoyed it.  Once again Mallon was brilliant and I enjoyed her narration.  A great narrator will make or break an audiobook. Mallon definitely makes this one!

This book had me: - laughing so hard I almost peed my pants - snorting at the ridiculous awesomeness - loving the foreplay - rolling my eyes at my new best friend Everly and her off the wall crush - hugging Sophie in righteous at the moment anger - wanting to actually result to a c@nt punch - lusting after a coffee guy...who may be a lawyer... It was funny, fun, and all kinds of right even if some say it's Wrong!

Luke and Sophie coulda had more adventures in order to make the story longer~but it was a good, light, sensual enough read! If ur squeamish about language~then don't let ur sensible ears read past the VERY ADEQUATE title page~thank u JA for a fun read!

I don't know what to say! It started off interesting but then sort of was not. There were timeline inconsistencies. They completely skipped over Christmas where she was supposedly going to visit her grandparents and never did and went from like after thanksgiving to Martin Luther King Jr day in January. Plus the whole random half-brother coming in and the whole Gina thing was annoying. She was definitely acting her age whenever she got mad at Luke. The whole meeting the family part seemed weird. It just all happened really fast and the timeline just didn't make sense.

So, the idea behind this book is kinda crazy, and normally I'm not the hugest fan of older man romances, but this one was definitely a good one anyway. I have to say after the scene where he ends up being her gynecologist, I'm glad my gynecologist is a woman, because that would be embarrassing. I loved the Twilight reference made in this, and I'm also very excited for her friend Everly's book. I will definitely be reading on in the series, even though I think book 2 is also an older guy story, not quite the same big age difference though, I'll hope that not every book is like that.

★¸¸.•*¨*•★Minor spoilers alert!!!★•*¨*•.¸¸★ Writing style: Third Person POV Cover love: It’s simple, pink and I love it! Dual format read – Yes or no? Yes! Read count: 1.5 times There were so many funny and sexy moments – Sophie's gyno exam (a requisite in order to get birth control pills) at the student clinic with Luke as her doctor; her first time (admittedly painful yet intense and hot); the smirk*a*licious cliché sex lines during the dorm make-out scene; the bathtub breast exam scene, etc. I could go on, but then I’d been spoiling too much. They worked well outside their sexy times as well, but I loved having a chuckle while being titillated during their sexy scenes so much. My first read was via audiobook format, but I couldn't resist doing an immediate mini re-read via my e-book copy. Needless to say, I highlighted and bookmarked the crap out of so many great scenes.

I’ve been dying to read Wrong since I first laid eyes on it last year. The whole thing just sounded so ridiculously amazing that I knew I had to read it. I mean, could you imagine your gynecologist being the hot dude you’ve been crushing on? Going in for your lady exam is awkward enough, but I couldn’t imagine having a hot dude that I’ve been eyeballing being down there in my lady business. Eesh. Yeah, that right there got me wanting this book and that part of the book did not disappoint. I was laughing out loud so hard at some of the things happening to Sophie during her exam that I just lost it. The relationship between these two was an interesting one. You have a virginal college student, and a much older doctor. While the two alone aren’t that much different from other stories I’ve read, I did enjoy that Luke is a obstetrician and gynecologist. He’s not just some playboy millionaire who is a CEO of some big company. He looks at vaginas all day. Which is a bit weird when you are picturing him as the leading man in the story. The one thing I just couldn’t get past and what kind of ruined the story for me was how degrading Luke was to Sophie with his dirty talk. I mean, it’s one thing to call her a “dirty girl” and it’s a whole other thing to call her a “dirty hussy”, “little s***”, and a “filthy little b*.***” I’m sorry but that just rubbed me the wrong way. I know it was supposed to be sexy and erotic but instead it just came off as wrong. Oh. So. Wrong. And I don’t mean that to be a pun towards the title. I mean, this is a guy she’s only been with for a few weeks and he’s calling her these things. I just couldn’t get passed some of the things he called her while he initiated sex. While I really loved the trope in this one, Luke’s “dirty” talk really ruined this book for me. I still enjoyed the story and I will check out the author’s other books eventually. I really hope that it was just Luke’s character and the other guys in the series don’t all think it’s okay to call their girlfriends a “filthy little b*.”
