Grape can't unlearn what living in Sortilege Falls has taught her. Magic is real. Vampires live among us. And there's a portal in her back yard that leads to another world.

A few weeks ago, Grape lived a quiet life with her family in Watts Landing. Now, she's stuck in Sortilege Falls, searching for a way to rescue her brother from the other side of the rift. She's connected to Brad through dreams and what she sees terrifies her. Brad is being tortured into performing magic and, even worse, he's being forced to torture others.

Grape hounds the magic folk in town, seeking a way through the rift. Her mother's memory's been stolen. Her new vampire friend refuses to help. Grape must do it all alone. What she uncovers is a whole host of secrets about the town and her own family. And she's not the only one hunting for answers.

Time is running out for Brad, but it might be running out for Grape as well.

Title: Wrong Side of the Rift - Grape Merriweather Book 2 Author: Libby Heily Publisher: Fire & Ice Young Adult Books Date of Publishing: November 14, 2017 This book given to me by NetGalley and Fire & Ice Young Adult Books in exchange for my honest review. Grape Merriweather is determined to get her brother back, even though no one seems to remember she had a brother, not even her own mother. Mandy thinks she is loosing her mind as do the other surviving models, Now flawed and normal like everyone else. The only other persons to remember her brother are those from the other side of the rift. Courage will be needed will all paths to the information she needs are blocked. Who can she trust and who will help her/ Who would destroy her to keep her from finding the truth? The characters have continued to develop as the story continues. This second offering of Grape Merriweather's new life in Sortilege Falls seems a bit darker and more intense than the first. The book opens with Grape on her own with no help in sight. She is courageous and inventive. Libby Heily provides a fast moving story that makes you feel as if the town might be real and people there could be someone you might know. The mind of the teens depicted are not miniature adults but act like real teens, a bit selfish, a bit self centered, but also loyal to fault to their friends and family. This is a good read for teens and adults alike and I hope to see more of Heily's writing in the future. I gave "Wrong Side of the Rift - Grape Merriweather Book 2" a 4.5 out of a total of 5 stars

Great second book in the series. I enjoyed it just as much as the first one. Couldn't stop reading and the book ended way too soon. I hope to read more about Grape Merriweather soon. I chose to read this book and all opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased. Thanks to NetGalley and Fire and Ice Young Adult Books!
