About the Author

Born and raised in France, she was involved in writing from an early age, She has written a score of books: children's fiction in French and English, romances and historical novels published in France, Canada and the US, non-fiction books and numerous articles for Dogs in Canada. Her poetry has appeared in the Anthologie de la poésie Franco-Manitobaine, and in several short stories anthologies. She also worked as a translator.

In 2003 she received the Queen's Jubilee Medal

In 1983 she was nominated for YWCA Women of the Year
