About the Author
Bill Brown his career as an editor and reporter at newspapers in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. His newspapers won a number of national awards, including a Pulitzer Prize. He is a native of Louisiana and a graduate of Louisiana State University. His personal essays tackle such topics as friendship with a stray cat, coming to grips with the need for a new wallet, the joys of hammocks and tomato and onion sandwiches, and waiting for bad news from a doctor.
