This book was a delight to read. As he does on his blog, Author Bill Walsh, points out language follies, but does so without ranting. As the book's subtitle suggests, this book is also instructional aiding the reader in abstaining from jerk-like behavior while enjoying enjoying language snobbery. His points of "leaving room" and "tiny acts of elegance" in particular stuck with me. It isn't quite a how-to book, however. The "model" is more a collection of useful tips yielding the other three quarters of the book to entertainment.
