Well-written, insightful and funny look inside Pfeiffer’s time with Obama. I was already a fan from PSA, even more so now. I needed this book in this moment. He filled the pages with stories that reminded me of the America and leadership we once had, and gave me such hope we’ll get there again. I learned a lot about what made Obama such a success, the (often self-deprecating) hard lessons learned through losses, and what we can’t lose sight of to win in the future. I also giggled out loud most of the time. The footnotes were incredible! The last was perfect and exactly what we need to get through 2018 and into 2020. Thanks for an amazing read!!!!

This book provides an inside look into the campaign, election, and presidency of Obama. It is a reminder of all we have lost, yet challenges us to use the lessons learned from the Obama era to focus on the future and take back our country.
