Sarah Castille has written another knock out!!!!! Against the Ropes was fantastic but  I couldn't stop reading Yield to Me!!!! Jax is the ultimate alpha male. The heat between he and Marcy was scorchin'. This book is a definite keeper! Can't wait to find out more about Reid, Two Step and the rest of the members of Club Excelsior.

His hair invited touching...and pulling Woo Hoo! I'm so excited about this new series. I fell hard for the Redemption Series, it was my introduction to Sarah Castille, and I'm hooked. I can't get enough of those sweaty, muscled, tough, bada$$ fighters that turn into teddy bears when their hearts are involved. I can't get enough of the author's ability to make me laugh out loud at the witty banter and humorous situations the characters find themselves in. I can't get enough of the colorful characters that I feel a connection with, making me feel like I am part of their "family", as they love and support and tease each other. I really enjoyed getting to know Marcy better in this book. She's still bada$$, but she has a sexy feminine side too. She's hot in and out of the ring and the chemistry between her and Jax was ringing my bell. Val had me giggle snorting at her antics and I can't wait for her to find a strong man to handle her sass. I have my heart set on Two-Step, I can't wait to read his story. The way he calls Marcy, baby girl made me melt. I can only imagine how he would be with "the one". Please keep them coming Sarah Castille, we need more!

I love Castille’s take on MMA & the look at women fighting. It’s empowering without going overboard. The theme of accepting who you are and using it to your advantage also heightened my enjoyment of the story. I was absolutely entranced by Castille’s writing. I simply couldn’t look away. Not only is the story well written & edited, the plot is solid & exciting. Her narrative and descriptions bring this novella to life in a very vivid and enticing manner. The fight scenes are just as vivid and captivating and the erotic ones. Castille takes an extremely unique look at the world of domination and submission, creating a unique niche for herself in a flooded market. The dual perspectives in this tale gives a well-rounded impression of the main characters and their stories. The contrast & similarities between the two makes you see how they’d make a great couple, while their antagonism towards one another sets the chemistry aflame. Backed by the family and loyalty at Excelsior, these characters really make you want to come back for more. Castille’s work never fails to captivate her audience but she steps above and beyond with this one. It is a fantastic start to a series that I will be avidly following. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to others. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

Great New Series! This is a great start to a new series; this is the first book in the Club Excelsior series by Sarah Castille. I love this author’s books and this one was just as good as her others. Marcy is an amateur MMA fighter who is determined to win the state championship. Jax is a fight consultant who is working at Club Excelsior. He demands and is always in control that is until he gets Marcy against the ropes. He can’t keep his hands off of her. Once I started reading this book, I didn’t want to put it down until I was finished. This book is hot! I can’t wait until I can read the next books in this series.   A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

I loved this book! How many books have you read where the female lead is a MMA fighter? But she's also a submissive, so that right is an interesting twist. From their initial meeting, the sparks between Marcy and Jax is so strong it could probably start a fire (you know, for a fictional story). This isn't an overly long book, but along with the heat between Marcy and Jax is some hilarious remarks and banter and hot sexy innuendos. Although I have her Redemption series on my TBR list, this was the first time I've read anything by Sarah Castille, and now that I've read a bit of her work, I'll be going back and make sure I read the Redemption series soon.

3.5 stars for me "That's it," Jax murmured. "Let go, little fighter. Give it up. Yield to me" I had trouble maintaining focus when I started this read. The storyline was fine, I just couldn't connect with the characters. The concept was interesting; a natural submissive conflicted with her fighter instincts and how it affected her in the MMA ring. However, there wasn't really anything that stood out for me about Jax or Marcy. It was a quick read and would come in handy to help get over a book hangover. *a copy of this book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Despite my distaste for (read: ignorance of) sports I found Yield to Me was easy to get into. The sparing scenes played out without much technical jargon. The relationship in this book didn’t play out in a typical way and the sex was really hot. I didn’t know this but this story was actually published before in the anthology Unraveled. This book has 50% more content, so we get more details than that short story would have contained. I can totally understand why the author would consider revisiting the story. At only 106 pages, this could have included even more details about Marcy and Jax. It would have kept my interest, I am sure of it. Marcy is an MMA fighter who wants to win the state championship. She was destined for a life on Wall Street until she changed her path, broke from her family, and became a fighter. The only problem is that she can’t submit in the ring. She freezes and refuses to tap out. This leads to a dangerous training style. She is a bit broken from a romance gone bad, and it has carried over into her fighting. Her coach calls in Jax, a professional counselor who is a former MMA fighter, to help her battle her demons. They have instant chemistry which causes so much turmoil inside and outside the ring. Jax is all alpha male in the bedroom and as a coach to Marcy. She struggles to keep her dominance, but it is a loosing battle. I swooned over the sex I this book. My favorite scene was called ‘Countdown to crazy hot sex‘ I don’t know what page it is on, but on my kindle it is at 84%. This author really knows how to lay out a scene, building tension for a few pages. and then releases it. There was a little flip in the last part and I didn’t think we would get a happy ending. Sarah Castille managed to clean up all the loose ends without being unrealistic. In this book is a heroine any girl could get behind. A heroine following her dreams and making them come true.

I just bought this book and have not yet read it, but I am already angry that I spent $3 for 96 pages. That is absoutely ridiculous. I wish refunds were available on nook. Seriously Barnes and Noble, get on that.
