Yesss!!! This is the best book that not only gives truthful advice but true and relatable. Leslie is like your own therapist for us mothers, new mothers, and soon to be mothers. This book is a must have for every mother who thinks is alone or who feel guilty about the way they are parenting. This book makes you laugh, cry, and even say “Omg that is so true “you’ll feel the connection. 100 STRS given and 100% recommended!!!

If there was a way to give this book ten stars I would. Leslie Bruce manages to sum up emerging into new motherhood so perfectly in the most honest parenting book I have ever read. She is witty, real, relatable, informative, without judgement or shaming. I was either laughing or crying at each chapter. Whether you are a new mom or even have kids already, all moms need to read this! I just hope she continues to write more because I am a forever fan!

I have read many parenting books and this one is a breath of fresh (and honest) air. I first heard Leslie Ann Bruce when she was interviewed on the Atomic Moms Podcast, where she boldly embraced her mom guilt saying it was proof of how much she cared for her children and family. Most parenting "experts" will provide moms with tips and tricks on how to alleviate Mom Guilt, instead Leslie Ann Bruce dedicates an entire chapter to the topic including a comprehensive list of "stuff" You Need to Stop Feeling Guilty About (she doesn't say "stuff" but I don't want this review to be blocked for language).
Speaking of the language she uses is colorful, honest and she says everything many of us are feeling but don't say because we think we are the only ones. This is an excellent book for first time moms as she tackles all the topics no one tells you about in a real and heartfelt way. I will be buying multiple copies to give as gifts to all my new my mom friends!
