Max, the CEO of Bon-Bon Chocolates, is sent by his father to stop his sister's wedding. Max, still seeking his dad's approval, flies out to Vegas to stop the marriage per dad's orders. Tiff has a bad track record where men are concerned, but thinks she's finally found "the one". Their father, who used to run Bon-Bon Chocolates, nearly ran it into the ground with his overspending and poor management. Tiff is now the head of the company with her brother the CEO. Tiff, knowing Max is on his way, begs her best friend Lorelei to stall him. Lorelei has had a crush on Max forever, but knows he sees her as more of a "sister". Upon graduating from college, Lorelei earns a position in Bon-Bon Chocolates research division. She's developed varieties of chocolate that are to curb the effects of alcohol in your system so that you don't get drunk and drive. She and Tiff are at a convention in Vegas to showcase the new chocolates--that Max knows nothing about. When Max arrives at the convention to talk sense into Tiff, Lorelei stalls him by having him try the chocolates--which she accidentally exchanged with another prototype....Needless to say, after one too many drinks and chocolates they end up married and in bed together! As they backtrack and try to figure out what happened, they begin to realize that they WANT to stay married. This was a HILLARIOUS, quirky novel. The hoop wedding dress that wouldn't fit through the door, the blue suede shoes, Max singing and proposing to Lorelei on stage all contributed to the funniest wedding experience two people could have. I loved it! I haven't had the privilege to read the other novels in the series, but will go back and read them now. I read a gifted copy of this novel and all opinions stated are my own.

Lorelai and Max definitely have an interesting history together. Nevermind the fact that Lorelai has had a crush on Max as long as she can remember. She’s also the bride-to-be’s best friend and Max is the bride-to-be’s brother. So when they wake up married right before Tif’s wedding with no memory of how it happened, things get a little bit tricky to say the least. Having read all the other Bridesmaid books in the series to date, I have to say that this is my favorite one so far. This was such a fun story! I enjoyed the flashbacks to the night before so that we get glimpses of how the story unfolds little by little while also getting chunks of the story in present time. There’s just something so fun about a wedding that you don’t remember! While it does take on a bit of a “wild goose chase” feel, it’s a great ride and a very entertaining story. And as always, the writing is excellent. Even if you haven’t read any of the other Bridesmaid books in the series, I highly recommend you pick up this one! (I received an ARC of this book. The above review is my honest opinion.)

I've loved this fun cute series and this one may be my favorite. Maxwell Bonander is the serious one of the family. Always trying to prove himself to his father is exhausting and now he finds himself in Vegas trying to put a stop to another of his sister's engagements. Tiff knows why he's there and asks her bridesmaid, Lorelei Spencer, to keep Max too busy to get in the way. Lorelei's not sure but she doesn't think a drunken wedding was what Tiff had in mind. The hilarity of the day after when Max and Lorelei try to piece together what happened had me chuckling all the way through this one. I highly recommend this one

Lorelei Spencer and Maxwell Bonander have a cool professional working relationship. He is the CFO of Bon-Bon Chocolate where she works in research. He seems to disapprove of everything that she does. Their families may have known each other for years, but they've grown apart. Where has her childhood hero gone? After a chocolate taste testing mishap, she finds herself married to Max. Neither can remember exactly what happened, but Lorelei is secretly overjoyed. She has loved him forever. I cared for Lorelei. She's a wonderful mix of brilliant and spontaneous. Max is all about pleasing his father even though it doesn't make him happy. Only in Vegas could this craziness happen. Their romance is definitely non-traditional. I laughed at the wedding dress from hell and Max's eye-catching attire. Only Melinda Curtis could combine heartbreak and humor. I cared for this couple and wanted them to get the HEA that they deserved. I love The Bridesmaid Series.

This was a fun story. Max is determined to stop his sister's wedding. Lorelei is his sister's friend who also works with them in their chocolate business, and happens to have a long time crush on Max. Add one drunken night in Vegas (thanks to a chocolate mix up) and suddely Max and Lorelei are the ones that are married, and can't remember how it happened. It was fun seeing them back tracking to figure out the events that transpired the previous day/night. It was also nice seeing how they were coming to terms with their true feelings about each other. There was some back and forth between present (post drunken marriage) and the past, (the day the marriage took place) but it wasn't hard to follow.

This is the fourth book in The Bridesmaid Series by Melinda Curtis. It is a fun romantic comedy series and if the brides, bridesmaids, grooms and groomsmen are going to find themselves in a funny and uncomfortable situation it is probably in one of these stories! Everyone knows that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? WRONG! Lorelei Spencer and Maxwell Bonander wake up from a night of drinking and eating chocolates finding themselves married and neither of them can remember what seems to have been the most epic night of their lives. While they can't remember it at all, it seems to have been plastered all over social media and their friends and family are demanding answers. Max's plan is to get this all taken care of, but it's not that simple for Lorelei because she has loved Max for years. I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

A sweet, short and fun read! I loved everything about it. But what happens in Vegas absolutely doesn't stay there for Max, bachelor son of the world renowned Bonander Bon Bon's. Waking up married certainly wasn't something Max had expected. Or not remembering how it happened. And certainly not to nerdy Lorelei Spencer. He had known her since she was a little girl and had always thought of her as a sister. Well maybe not always...but never had he dreamed of marrying anyone, especially her. Lorelei has always secretly loved Max. But never in her wildest dreams did she think to wake up next to him married. Or without remembering. If only she could make sense out of what's happening. As these two traipse around Vegas on a wild goose chase, they become increasingly close. They see a side of one another that makes the other seem better. And when things come to light will they be able to go back to the way they were before or will their spoof of a wedding g make more of a mark on them that either expected.

You May Now Kiss the Bridesmaid This lively installment of the bridesmaid's series brings us into the zany adventures of Lorelei and Maxwell. The author developed an intricate plot that started with two people who had known each other for years. A little spark released by chocolate and alcohol started the adventure but reality kicked in, this author engages the reader and in a short time, you are hoping that the right decision is being made. Of course, there is a surprise ending. I loved it!

This was a delightful, fun novella! I enjoyed it very much and read the whole thing in one sitting! This whole series has been such a fun series to read! I love the humor! The characters and situations they get themselves into are hilarious! You find yourself laughing out loud! This book opens up with Lorelei and Max discovering they are in hotel room in Las Vegas MARRIED and have no recollection as to how they got that way! Max was sent by his father to Las Vegas to talk his sister, Tiffany, out of getting married to a man she's only known a short time since she's been engaged and hasn't gotten married several times already! He and Lorelei work together at his family's chocolate factory. She is the science "nerd" that discovers new products. No way would he ever marry her so WHAT HAPPENED???? You have to read this book to find out how they go from that hotel room to retrace their steps from the wedding chapel on to see if they can untangle the mystery! It is a hilarious adventure! I loved it!

They just keep getting better! This new edition to the Bridesmaids series is funny, romantic, and has an element of mystery. Lorelei Spencer wakes up to a man's voice answering his phone. The problem is that the man's voice seems to be in the same room! Worse, she recognizes that voice as Maxwell Bonander's. Max, the man who she's convinced doesn't even like her. Max wakes up to his phone ringing, but there's someone else in the room! It's only when he dares to open his eyes that he recognizes Lorelei. What could she possibly be doing in his room? And, why is she holding what looks to be a wedding dress? And, worse, why does he have a ring on his finger! Max and Lorelei are in Las Vegas for a candy convention and mysteriously wake up married. What happens in the pages that follow is a hilarious romp in their efforts to unravel the events of the night before and how they ended up tying the knot. However, as they work toward a solution, do they really want to undo it? In addition to the laughter and mystery is an underlying story of two individuals who reach out to the other with true compassion and support. Romance - PG Language - PG My rating - 5 stars

You May Now Kiss the Bridesmaid is the fourth installment from The Bridesmaid series. What a fun read! I laughed so hard reading this, that I was brought to tears. Max and Lorelei are two characters a reader doesn't want to forget. A great, fun, clean and romantic book! 5 plus stars.

Max and Lorelei wake up in a cheap motel room in Vegas. And they are married. How did that happen? Last thing they remembered, Max was there to stop his sister from getting married and Lorelei was getting ready for a press conference. As they retrace their steps from the previous day, they find out that they aren't so eager to end their marriage.

I had a blast reading this fun novella from this Bridesmaid series, functional chocolate being the source of this pleasure. Lorelei is the creator of chocolates that either allow one to drink after eating one and remain sober, or allow one to get a buzz without any hangover effects. When too many chocolates come into play, things happen between Lorelei and Max, which are surprising to both of them. I found this to be entertaining and loved every minute of the wit and humor that was portrayed. The situations that the characters faced were just pure joy. It is a delightful story and the lightest of this series. Like the others, this can be read as a stand alone. [I received this for free.]
