Engaging fantasy tale by a new author. Definitely worthwhile for those into heroes and villains and witches and goblins, but with different and imaginative twists. The author does have a bit of problem with overuse of adjectives which can get in the way of the enjoyment that is otherwise all over the place here. It will be wonderful to see how this author develops.
