All's fair in love, war, and breakfast waffles in this sizzling standalone romantic comedy from USA Today bestselling author, Lila Monroe!

Zoey Rafferty dreams of becoming the food truck queen of San Francisco. She's building an empire whipping up delicious brunch treats - until the (annoyingly handsome) Breakfast Bandit starts stealing all her customers with his devious tactics and smoldering charm.

Cam Newsom never backs down from a fight. As far as he's concerned, let the best chef win. And so what if Zoey looks sexy as hell when she's all riled up? He wants a woman he can connect with - not have whipped cream spray fights in the middle of the street. A woman like his mysterious online pen-pal, WaffleGirl, who shares his ambition, and burns up his screen with her flirty quips.

Soon, their competition is heating up the kitchen - and the bedroom. But when the famous foodie TV show Truck Stop rolls into town looking for a new reality star, all bets are off, as Zoey and Cam compete for the prize. But will their rivalry blow both their chances?

And what happens when they find it's not just their food on the line - but their hearts, too?

Find out in this sexy new twist on 'You've Got Mail', from USA Today bestselling author, Lila Monroe!

This is book two in the latest series from Lila Monroe and is Zoey Rafferty and Cam Newsom’s story. Lila Monroe had me from chapter one in this fun, quirky and oh so entertaining read about two competitive chefs who not only heat up the kitchen but also the bedroom. Zoey has worked hard to achieve her dreams but when Cam threatens her livelihood she is determined to best him. Their fiery attraction smoulders and the chemistry between them is off the charts. I never fail to smile when I read a Lila Monroe book. This is an excellent example of Romantic Comedy at it’s finest and I recommend you one click ASAP, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

These two characters are all about food and their food trucks. Their chemistry is off the thermometer scale and the storyline is a must page flipper. Definitely another favorite couple that learn two chefs are better with one truck.

Another fun loveable read from the very talented Lila Monroe. You’ve Got Male is book 2 in the Chick Flick Club Series and if you are looking for a book that will have you laughing, giggling and leave you smiling like a Cheshire Cat as well as pulling just a little bit at your heartstrings you won’t want to miss this one. Zoey and Cam are rivals with their food truck businesses and what starts off as friendly funny rivalry soon goes horribly wrong and trusts are broken .....but who is to blame I guess you need to read the book to find that out.... This author is fast becoming the must read queen of RomComs with her adorable couples and funny situations they find themselves in, her books are certain to lift your mood and leaving feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Great read

You've Got Male is Lila Monroe's latest installment in her Chick Flick Club series. It is a fun, adorable and quick read. This rom-com novella features Zoey and Cam. Both are food truck owners in San Francisco. Both are highly competitive and driven, but only one has the decorum needed to allow everyone a win. Escalating shenanigans between the two chefs provide plenty of laughs. The story is a nod to the 1990's movie, You've Got Mail. Unbeknownst to Zoey and Cam, the person they've connected to in an online forum is none other than their arch rival. Their respective online personas, WaffleGirl and BetterWithButter, have a fun and supportive relationship juxtapose to their escalating animosity in person. The heat in the kitchen and the love story hits the top of the charts when these two both get picked to participate in a high-stakes restaurant cook-off. The drama and angst kick in as they realize who their dreamy online pal is in real life. Can you have love and career success in the same industry? Ms. Monroe provides the answer in her non-stop fun romantic comedy, You've Got Male.

You've got Male was a fun loving entertaining all you can eat story. I love the characters and their rivalry if you will! I laughed, I was just as heartbroken but I genuinely thought Zoey had such a great support network, they really knew how to cheer a girl up. When a rival food truck is taking away her business Zoey sets out for revenge of sorts. The rivalry is rather funny until things go wrong. Has Cam done the wrong thing or will he redeem himself. The banter was funny, the friendships and budding relationship were wonderful A real light hearted, down to earth read you can really kind of relate to. Well I think so. A definite must read

I gotta tell ya, I love Lila Monroe’s books!! Between her cast of characters, whom you can’t help but love, her non stop wit & humorous situations, there’s no way you can read her books without smiling & laughing. And obviously, this is no exception. The food truck wars become quite interesting here between Zoey & Cam. And things heat up, in more ways then one ;). This was so much fun, and sizzly, to read that I read it in one sitting. Definitely need to jump on this wagon!!

I just love Ms. Monroe's stories! They are sweet and fluffy.  They are laugh out loud funny and smexy as all get out! The perfect combination! You've Got Male is the second book of the Chick Flick Club, this is Zoe's story! I was so looking forward to this after reading a tease in the first book of this series. Zoe and Cameron are competing food truck owners.  And in a lovely twist of the fabulous movie You've Got Mail....(Which I absolutely love!!) Zoey is my spirit animal! She could be living in the lap of luxury with her brother being a movie star, but she wants and works hard for her independence.  She wants to make a name for herself in the world of food trucks. Cameron is Zoey's biggest rival and makes no bones about it.  He too is fighting to make a name for himself. From miscommunication and mistaken identities to funny but strategic pranks, this story is everything! Like a brunch waffle cone of goodness that Zoey wants to become famous for! The secondary characters are, as always, amazing and bring more to the story!  You cannot go wrong with a Lila Monroe story! They are refreshing and light, just what you need sometimes!

I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review. This is the second book in the Chick Flick Club series and it tells Zoey’s story. Zoe and Cameron run rival food trucks. Their competition heats up and so does the sabotage (mostly by their assistants). Of course, they meet anonymously on a message board for foodies, and their alter egos click. This is a nice retelling of the “You’ve Got Mail”/“The Shop Around the Corner.” I loved both of the characters and the pace of the romance. I cannot wait for the next installment of this series.

There's a lot to like in Lila Monroe's You've Got Mail. It's based on a great movie story that's been made at least 3 times successfully. And it's got food. Lots of food. I like food. My cholesterol levels prove it. So it was a no brainer to read the book and I wasn't disappointed. Instead of dueling music store employees (the first 2 movies) or dueling book store owners (the most recent movie) we get dueling food truck owners in San Francisco. Both are talented chefs who can sling it with the best. Until they find themselves competing for the best locations in town. Then they'll do anything they can to succeed, including fall in love. Lila Monroe uses the original movie stories well. But she doesn't completely follow the movie scripts, which is great. Her adaptation is fun, sweet and sexy, unlike the movies. The setting is great and as I said before, you can't go wrong with food in your story. I only wish she'd added some of Zoey and Cam's recipes to the book. I could use a good brunch. Definitely add this one to your brunch menu. You won't be disappointed. Rating: 4 stars ***Tangled Hearts Book Reviews received an ARC copy of this book in return for an honest review. 5 'Food fighting' stars. You’ve Got Male by Lila Monroe is book two of the a truly hilarious, lighthearted story of two truck food owners at odds with each other, who have to battle it out to see who is the best of the #brunchcrowd. Dirty tactics abound in this sweet tasting take on the movie ‘You’ve Got Mail’. I hardly stopped smiling while I was gorging myself on this scrumptious story. From all the delicious sounding dishes to the hot and steamy scenes it was a true delight for the senses. In every way imaginable. I loved Zoey, and was rooting for her from the moment she stepped onto the pages of my kindle. Cam, was quite the salty dish with his cut and run tactics in the beginning but he soon sweetened, not just Zoey, but me as well. He was a dish and a half of hot, sexy studliness. Zoey was about to let Cam ride off into the sunset with her customers and decided to fight fire with well.. A the goodies at her disposal. Some of her choices were kinda risky, but it was Cam and his accomplice AJ, who led the way in the cutthroat challenges. But, even when they were trying to be mad with one another their chemistry still rocked. Add the snarly, innuendo filled banter and it was a super, sweet and sinful story.

A little friendly competition is good for the soul. But what these two cook up is more than just a cordial rivalry. You’ve Got Male is book two in the Chick Flick Club Series, but can be read as a standalone. Lila Monroe never fails to deliver a sweet and spicy romantic comedy that leaves readers thirsty for more! Zoey and Cam were just simply adorable!! Their unique enemies-to-lovers relationship gives you exactly what you hope for from the premise, but also conveys the deep connection of friendships and the intense desires that drives ambition. As rivals, Zoey and Cam couldn’t be any more different from each other. Competing against one another in an already cutthroat culinary world doesn’t help their chances of rekindling the spark they had when they first met. And as seemingly harmless little pranks turn into brutal sabotage, misunderstandings hinder their already rocky relationship – proving the saying “It’s not personal. It’s business.” If you love a good story that will make you gasp, swoon, cry, and crack-up with endless laughter, then definitely read You’ve Got Male. The fiery banter, the delectable romance, and the mouthwatering sexual tension will undoubtedly make you melt. 5 Stars!

Warning! If your New Years resolutions included a diet, and you are among the few who have managed to stick to it, this book will blow that to bits. You absolutely cannot read this one without craving all things yummy, and at the top of that list are waffles, all kinds of waffles. And brunch isn't the only thing cooking between Cam and Zoey. A little healthy competition is good for you, but this pair go way beyond healthy with crazy antics and insults thrown at every opportunity. Of course, the sparks of anger can lead to some pretty big flames when there's a mutual attraction, and these two have that in spades. This second Chick Flick Club tale is packed full of witty banter, crazy good chemistry, great friends, and a bit of steamy goodness. It's everything a good RomCom should be and then some, and I can't wait for the next in this lighthearted series.
