Wow, Tina Folsom has completed another excellent written page turner in the Scanguards Vampires Romance Series. I must admit that I've read the other three preceding books in the series and couldn't wait for this one. It was so worth the wait. This book could also be read has a stand alone, but don't deprive yourself by skipping the others. I recommend the entire series right along with her other reads. Yes, Tina Folsom in one of my favorites authors and it all started with this series. :)

was glad to see Yvette's story after what happened in Gabriel's. I wish there were more Scanguards because it now it seems like the only one left is Zane.

I just finished the last available Scanguard Vampires Novel #4, and I long for the next in the series. These are modern and unique. I purchased the enitre set this one and the last book #4. I never read just one book in a series. I have to have them all. I finished the 4 books in the series that are available in a little under 4 days. I was in love with the characters which grace the pages of each book. You get to know each one intimately, and begin to feel their inner conflicts, and pull for them to overcome even the grimest of circumstance. I will not give spoilers, I hate to have even a tidbit of information leaked. So I am going to say GET THESE BOOKS, READ THEM ALL, YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE. There is action and romace. Tinas writing is amazing. Her connection between the characters is sultry, loyal, and full of friendship and compassion. I could not put them down, and I happened upon the series by accident. I literlly read a book a day, and I am yearning for her next. If you decide to give these a try you wont be disappointed. Now one small piece of information to those that are considering these as their next read, these are erotic in every sense, and are full of heat and passion. If you feel that you are modest and wil be offended with explicit sexual encouters this is not a book for you, but if you are like me and love the intimate connections, the growing plot, the action, and victory of a love spinning out of control in the throws of the paranormal THESE ARE FOR you......MUST READ THESE ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!! Now Tina we need a mate for Zane and Thomas(which I so wish he were my BFF) Oh I have a few ideas for Thomas. These are so superb dont miss the chance to read these and put a little steam in your day, evening, or night. Guaranteed to steam your reading glasses....LOL

Once again I was not disappointed by this author. I have read every book that Tina Folsom has written and I love them all. The Scanguard series is my favorite. I would recommend this to people who love vampires and some steamy sex scenes. I can't wait for the next book!

Yvette's Haven by Tina Folsom - awesome addition to the series. Again Folsom delivered, always giving more than you expected and providing an outstanding story. Yvette. Yvette. Yvette. Did we ever think she would find love? Sent to protect an upcoming movie star, Kimberly, after she becomes uncomfortable with Zane, (who'd have ever thought that?), Yvette escorts her to a premiere party. Making herself aware of her surroundings, Yvette meets a gorgeous man who entices her in more ways than one. What she doesn't understand is this gorgeous man, Haven, will soon become her kidnapper and has a few tricks up his sleeve to make it happen. Haven and his brother Wesley have been searching for their little sister Katie since their mother's death. When Wesley finds himself in trouble and held captive by a witch named Bess, Haven - a bounty hunter - has no choice but to follow the witch's demands. Bess wants Kimberly and knows she's being guarded by vampires. Creating a concoction sure to deem a vampire unconcious, she sends Haven on his way letting him know that if he fails to deliver the goods, Wesley dies. With surprising twists, amazing characters, and a story to keep you turning the pages, this was an amazing addition to the Scanguards Series. Folsom never lost Yvette's true personality during the process of her falling in love and that is what I love about her writing. Yvette is one hard core bad ass chic, and she still kicks butt even while falling for her true love. I love this series, I have yet to hate a character they are all phenomenal, and now I cannot wait for Zane's story, the next installment. I'm very anxious to see how his story unfolds considering his personality and...let's say crazy quirk.

This story was so awesome. I was so happy to see the protagonist and the steamy scenes was written about a female Vamp. This book has everything you want. Ms. Folsom's writting is very unique and it plays like a movie. I really hope Ms. Folsom continues writing about the Scanguard Vampires. I especially love the story is written in San Francisco. Love it, great weekend read.

I have to say that this book was extremely predictable and a little repetative at times but fairly a good read, very lusty in a modern way which was irotic and sexy

4 stars — Another reread (7 years later), but I enjoyed this one more than the previous books on reread. Which is not to say that it didn’t have some points that irked me, but all in all I felt more sucked in. Maybe I liked Haven more? I don’t know…but it kept my attention more than the other books. This is the last book I had read previously, so the next will be brand new! So Yvette. Hmmm…she left me feeling conflicted. I felt her heartache, and I loved that underneath she was vulnerable, but her b*tchy shield kind of annoyed me. But more than that, and here comes the irk, I hated her whole position on children, being a mother, and the reason she was upset about being infertile. I get that part of it is a product of her human time and that era, but hello…it’s the modern world, adjust your world-view. I think the problem I had is that there was a constant pronouncement of she’s not a real woman because she can’t bear children, or she’s broken, or men will only love women who could have children, and JUST LIKE IN GABRIEL’S MATE, instead of her clearly changing her view and learning that that’s messed up, she just ends up finding a guy who doesn’t want children either and they’re all good. Uh, no. Hell no. As a woman who doesn’t want children, these topics tend to raise my hackles as it were… BUT, see here’s the thing…if I can look past that part, I enjoyed their romance more than in the previous books. And as always, I enjoy the world, I enjoy the large cast of characters, I enjoy the plot and action. So it was definitely a stronger read in general. I just feel like either the author has some very strange hangups and they are coming across in her books…or she doesn’t realize that’s how it’s coming across, and she forgets that we need to see characters learn and grow. It’s an unfortunate theme. But for realz yo…I did enjoy the plot. I loved learning more about witches, and seeing an expansion of the world. I also love seeing glimpses of the other characters whose stories are still to come, and getting updates from stories we’ve already read. I will admit I was bummed the dogs didn’t play a larger role…but I’m an animal person, what can I say. I can’t decide if I pursue more in this series after I catch up with the ones I own, or just let it go. It’s so hard to decide, because there are good things and bad things! I guess we’ll see!

Yvette's Haven is a journey of self doubt and recovery. A story of pain and love. And ultimately a story of beauty and family. Yvette is a vampire who has a mask firmly in place. This book finally shows us the real her and she is one amazing character. She is strong, loyal, dedicated, and has a heart bigger than anyone could have guessed. Haven is misguided by family loyalties but ultimately those loyalties are what make him who he is. He loves his family so much that his entire life is focused on them and never himself. When Haven and Yvette meet its definitely not love at sight, but they soon realize that they are what each other needs. They both end up finding the path that was meant for them through all the hardships they endure together to make a fresh start, to finely love. I love this story so much.
