I enjoyed this book because although I have always heard about living in the "zen" state of mind, I never really believed in it or studied it. I started reading about the conscious mind in various other books and somehow came across this book when I was down and out in my relationships. I wanted to know what I was doing wrong and why my relationships ended so miserably. So I read this book and was pleasantly surprised by how much I learned. I did a lot of reflecting and realized I had been doing a lot of things wrong, and this book made me see the light. It gave me insight into relationships and how they should work, be, and how one should feel. I loved this book and will continue to read it from time to time to remind myself of the simple concepts I need to practice to enforce my newfound knowledge. I definitely recommend it.
