About the Author

Gerald (Gabby) Hayes is an IT consultant, writer, and photographer. He is also a traveler, explorer, and wanderer. Born in in California, he has spent his life moving from place to place, for business and for pleasure, not always in that order.

He joined the US Air Force out of high school, saw the world, and never looked back. He’s lived in ten states and spent time in all fifty. He lived in Europe for several years, and has traveled to six continents. In his travels, he has made memories and photographs of the people, places, and situations he experienced.

After graduating from college with degrees in Computer Science and Writing, Gerald started a long career of computer programming, technical writing, and training. All along the way, he traveled extensively, gathering material for his stories.

Gerald lives in Colorado with his wife. He owns a small consulting business which gives him plenty of opportunities to travel, write, and make photographs.

Chris Lawler is a semi-retired leather restoration technician who discovered writing late in life. Posting stories about growing up in the South Bay led to the compilation, A Son of the South Bay, Parts 1 and 2. Chris also writes a weekly Facebook Page called The Secret Sunday Service.

Chris is also an accomplished illustrator.
