This has got to be the most beautiful journal I have ever seen. Very durable and I am an avid singer, so the cover just amazed me! very large pages, easy to write in, and its got a ton of pages. All around the best journal I've had.

This journal is absolutely beautiful! The leather is delightfully soft and the page are just the right thickness, not too light, nor too thick. The journal itself has tons of pages, with nice, well-spaced lines. The leather tie is a lovely extra feature. It is a bit hefty and bulky, definitely very book-like, so if you're looking for a journal you can easily tote around with you in any sort of purse, this isn't it. However, if a larger journal is to your taste or you like to write a lot, this would be a great choice. It is good quality, and definitely worth the price, unlike some journals that cost a comparable amount but are lacking in quality.

I love to write, so the number of pages is very pleasing. Overall it is pretty easy to write in, which is something I especially appreciate as a lefty. When writing at the very beginning (or eventually the end) of the journal I simply placed another similar sized (it's standard) paperback beneath the lighter side to help with writing. The cover is gorgeous, and I love the feel and the smell. Perfectly sized to fit in my purse and take with me wherever I go, so I always have it on hand when inspiration strikes!

I recieved my Duchessa Journal in the mail today and the moment i opened the box, the aroma of the fine leather swooned me. The texture of the leather is fabulous! The pages are beautifully designed and there are infinte pages! I have a feeling I'll be writing in this journal for a very long time! The only conflict I've faced with this journal, is that the journal isn't quite as wide as It believed to be. The picture makes it look much larger. Nevertheless, It's an amazing gift and i HIGHLY recommend it! 8/10

One note: I found it really helped to use a little neutral shoe polish on the leather to keep it from drying out.

This journal is perfect, though slightly smaller in person than it looks online. There are A LOT of pages, which is perfect for me, since I'm an avid journal writer who takes up a lot of pages on entries. I can't wait to start writing in it, and I'll probably end up buying the others in the collection. :)

Wow. I saw this at my local B&N, and it impressed me. So soft...beautiful cover....the only real downer was the prce. Wow, $35?!? It should be cheaper...XD<BR/><BR/>But really, it looks sorta hard to write in. I mean, floppy cover, and you might break the spine if you lay it flat to write on. Everything else was great!

I'm a mucisian and this caught my eye on the shelf. My dad bought it for my 18th birthday and it makes for a wonderful gift for anyone. <BR/>from the musical notes on the cover, to the leather ribbons, the beautiful feel of it....I am impressed indeed. I prefer lined pages myself, and these are perfect. Not too far apart, not to close together so it gives you pleanty of space to write on. Also, I am extremely picky about page thickness, and I don't like it to be too thick or too thin. These pages also suit me perfectly in every way. And there are many, so I doubt anyone wiould be running out anytime soon. <BR/>The italian leather has a pleasant smell and only grows more beautiful the longer you have it. Don't worry about spills. The pages soak it up and create and aged look and feel. I would buy this for anyone.

The spine will NOT break, and the cover is not the floppy, it's actually pretty sturdy. For the person who wants to know if it bleeds, it doesn't, no matter what pen you use. This journal is terrific!

She loves music and reading/writing, so I got her this journal. I haven't actually seen the one I got for my friend, but by looking at the display journal, the binding was great and the pages were nice. I'd recommend this for someone who enjoys music and the fun of writing.

I went to the store and saw this journal on the shelf. I read the reviews of the same journal but different cover, and had to see for myself what the big deal was. It's so soft, and so simple, yet unbelievably gorgeous. It also has a LOT of pages, so if you plan on not switching journals anytime soon, this is it. I'm a musician, and love everything music related, so this particular cover suits me perfectly. I haven't read in any of the reviews if it's easy to write in or not. I'd like to know that before I buy it. This is definitely going to be my next one.

I purchased this journal for a young lady who loves music as well as writing. I was very pleased with the quality of the materials used in its construction. I highly recommend!

This is by far the most beautiful journal I have ever owned. It is PERFECT. The lines are not too thick (which I think is tacky) but not too thin to be impractical. They are perfect. The leather is soft, the design is beautiful and it is really thick! Amazing. Exactly what I was after, something I have been looking for in Australia for years and haven't been able to find here!

I saw this and I did not need to look at my other choices. I was in love. I held it, I smelled it, It was perfect. I love the tie. I tie it in a special way. So if anybody opened it, I would know because they dont know how I tie it.
I love how it comes with a book mark. I write in this journal daily. It helps me get my thoughts off my chest and onto paper.
I wish I could rate it a billion stars out of five.
This was the first journal to catch my eye but when I looked at the price I went on search for another. As I started looking though, I noticed that it actually had a pretty good price. It is made of leather, it's hand made, and my favorite part, NOT MADE IN CHINA. (I've wanted to say that so many times :D )
It is has many pages to write memories, stories, and what every you are planning on writing. The only problem I have is, Santa Claus (my parents) took it from me till Christmas. So now it lays under tree, all wrapped and pretty and I am itching to go grab it, rip the wrapping paper and start writing.

I LOVE this journal! My friend and I are both violinists and she had this journal next to her bed. Every time I saw it, I admired it, so for my 18th birthday, she gave me one of my own. It's beautiful, soft, the pages and the lines are the perfect size. I used to make attempts at keeping journals, but I was never successful until I got this one. Now, I write in my journal all the time, because I love the look and feel of it so much!! Well worth the price and it would make a perfect gift for anyone! I highly recommend it!!
